Anal beads are a classic toy. Many people enjoy the way they pop in and out of the anus. The contrast between the stretch of the bead followed by closing around the string can feel delightful. Some people enjoy removing the beads while they orgasm to heighten the experience. They can be used as a warm up to anal sex or as an indulgence all to themselves. They work great with double penetration too!

A couple things set these beads apart from the pack. Many of the cheaper beads that you'll find out there are made of plastic balls that are tied onto a string. Making beads out of these materials means that you will never be able to sterilize them, especially the string part! Another concern about beads that are made this way is that if the knot at the end is not tied securely the last bead can actually come off while it is inside you. Getting a bead stuck in your butt can range in experience from a bit annoying to an emergency room visit. Because the Bendybeads are made of silicone, they can be completely sterilized. Also, as they are constructed as a single piece there is no danger of one of the bead getting detached from the rest.

Secondly, these silicone beads are simply as beautiful in person as they appear on the screen! A lot of care went into making them look elegant and sophisticated. Each bead is oval shaped. The first bead is the smallest and they get gradually bigger as you go along the chain. The beads are half-wrapped in a little band that weaves back and forth between the beads. The handle puts the cherry on the cake with a twisting curly-Q. These beads also increase in size as you go along, giving the anus a gradually increasing amount of stretch.

The elaborate handle is large enough to prevent the whole toy from slipping inside your body. The largest bead can also serve this purpose. Depending on your level of experience, you might never actually get the largest bead inside. It's a much larger leap in size than any of the beads that come before it. Just keep this in mind and don't push yourself too far.

Care and Maintenance

These Bendybeads can be sterilized by boiling them in water for a few minutes, wiping them down with a 10% bleach solution or running through the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap. Before sterilizing you may want to give them a good rinse and scrub to make sure that all the nooks and crannies are free of residue. If sterilizing is not important to you, you can give these beads a wash in warm water with mild soap. This toy does attract some lint, but not as badly as some silicone. Still though, you may want to store it in the packaging, in a plastic bag or wrapped in cloth. They also aren't a super obvious sex toy, though would probably raise some suspicion upon close inspection.

This is the only set of anal beads that I own. I couldn't resist their beauty and also the body safe qualities of their material. That said, I don't think that anal beads are my toy of choice. While I love the sensation of the stretches and relaxing dips of the beads, I don't enjoy having to insert each bead one at a time. I prefer having a handle on my toys and a bit more stiffness so that I don't have to be changing where my hand is all the time. I think that I might enjoy using these beads more with an enthusiastic partner. I'd imagine inserting each one into someone's anus would be a fun game, or having someone put that much energy and attention into my own ass.

I'm giving Bendybeads a 5 star rating. Even though anal beads aren't to my taste, I think that these are some of the most supremely and body safe ones out there.
