The screw - butt plug by Whipspider rubberworks - review by Waterfall

The Screw by Whipspider Rubberworks is a pretty silicone butt plug with a swirled, or screw-shape, design. Due to the size and shape, this would work best for intermediate anal players or for those looking for something more exciting than the traditional smooth shape. It is great for wearing for longer periods of time because the material has a nice amount of give and the base is comfortable. I don't think this would work well for p-spot stimulation because there is no curve.

The Screw is made from 100% silicone which makes it non porous, easy to clean, safe for everyone because there are no chemicals, and able to be sterilized for sharing.

I have one other toy from this company and I have found that I really LOVE their silicone! It is squishy and inviting which makes this toy very comfortable to insert, wear, and remove. Although it has some give and is pretty flexible, this does not cause any issues with insertion. The only slight downside to the silicone is that it tends to hold odors, but I found that letting it air dry helps a lot.

I got mine in the blue and lavender color and it is such a beautiful shade of blue with a bit of purple mixed in. I wish I could find more toys that were this color.

I was expecting to need more warm up than I did because this one has a twisted texture to it. However, I find the texture to be very pleasurable as I slowly insert this toy and as I remove it. If the silicone were more firm than it is then I am not sure if it would be as enjoyable. Even though it has this shape, the silicone is pretty smooth so lube helps it glide in nicely. I don't think this would be great for beginners, but those with some experience under their belt should enjoy it as long as they don't need a perfectly smooth toy.

In terms of diameter and circumference, The Screw is the largest plug that I own. It has a diameter of 1 1/2 inches at the widest bulge and a circumference of 4 1/2 at the widest part. It starts off smaller (close to an inch in diameter) so you get a gradual increase in size as you insert it. I think this makes it better than my B-Bomb which seems to get wide all of a sudden right after a small tip. I recommend this size most for intermediate users because it is a comfortable size after you have warmed up or after you have some experience with anal play.

Although it does resemble a screw, it also looks like a swirled ice cream cone to me. At first I wasn't sure how this would feel, but as I mentioned it feels good as I push each bulge inside of me and then again when I take it out. This is a plug that I really enjoy removing, unlike others that really don't have an effect on me when I take them out.

It has a pretty thick base, which looks like it might not be comfortable, but for me it fit perfectly between my cheeks and I was a very happy person.

Unlike my glass plug, this one is not very discreet if left out and should be kept hidden if you don't want anyone to find out about your toys.

I am really impressed with this plug! I have other plugs that I enjoy, but this one has really given me exactly what I wanted. The texture is stimulating, the size is just right to make me feel full, and I can use this with another toy vaginally without it popping out on me. I know this plug will be one of my favorites for a long time.

Being small and made out of silicone, The Screw is super easy to clean and store. I wash it with warm water and soap and sometimes with toy cleaner. To sterilize it, just boil it in water (the paper in the bag says 3 minutes). It should only be used with water based lubricants, because silicone lubricants will react poorly with the surface of the toy (especially because this one is so soft). I keep mine in a plastic bag to protect it from other toys and to keep lint off of it.

I really like the simple, yet reusable, packaging that Whipspider Rubberworks uses. It consists of a plastic Ziploc-type bag, which I happily use for storage, and a piece of paper that says a little bit about the company and about how to care for your toy. If you are giving this as a gift, I would suggest putting it a nice box (as the bag would be hard to wrap anyway).

As I usually do when I have a plug inserted anally, I used another toy vaginally with this one. It stayed in place very well while I played and when I orgasmed.
