The Screw is a butt blug that is on the lower end of the size scale. It's an excellent choice for adventurous beginners who want to skip the dinky little toys out ther or intermediate users who enjoy dainty plugs, and provides stimulation to both men and women. Butt plugs such as this are a great prelude to anal sex or penetration play because they help to relax the muscles which can make interting other objects much easier. They can also be a great experience when used alone, during intercourse, or vaginal toys. Those with a prostate may find some stimulation with this plug, but it's not typically designed for the prostate so it may be mild.

The flared base makes it nestle between the butt cheeks nicely, and it is rather squishy which makes it comfortable for extended wear. The plug manages to stay in very well so you can go out on the town with your little secret and feel totally confident.

When it comes to butt plugs, I don't even consider anything that isn't silicone. Why? Because I'm a germaphobe. Butts are not the cleanest thing out there and I don't want something hanging around that can't get fully clean, especially things that go in the butt. Silicone doesn't retain any of the icky butt germs, so it's a wise choice of material.

The silicone of this piece is wonderfully squishy, but firm enough to be functional and comfortable at the same time. It is slightly tacker than other silicone, but somehow it seems to not collect insane amounts of lint and dust. No one wants dusty butt. It also gets quite slippery with lube, so no issues there. As stated earlier, the swirl texture is very mild during use making it suitable for those who prefer smoother butt plugs. Silicone generally doesn't have any smell, but if you use this plug for extended periods of time or don't give it a good bath after use it may retain some butt smell to it. A good boil may solve this for you.

The Screw follows the classic butt plug shape of being tapered, having a narrow neck, and a flared base. What sets it apart from the norm is the swirl-like shape of the plug. The swirl doesn't provide any sort of overwhelming sensation, but it does add a little more stimulation into the mix. I couldn't tell much of a difference between this shape and the shape of the straighter designs. Insertion and removal were just as easy. The plug part measures about 3 1/2" from top to bottom and tapers from somewhere around 2" in diameter to 4 1/2". Considering these measurements you can see that the plug is rather short and on the larger side of the small plugs.

The base of the plug is a a long oval that is also tapered. The normal round bases on plugs can be a bit uncomfortable because they don't nestle into the booty crack like these oval shapes do, and therefore they aren't the best bet if you're looking for something to wear for long periods of time. Even short play sessions are made much more comfortable because of this. It measures at about 3" long and a little over 1" across.

The plug does have offer a nice bottom edge where it connects to the base which makes it stay snug in there, but it's not too prominent making removal easy. The neck is rather slim, at 1" in diameter and a little less than an inch long.

The color combinations offered are quite nice. The swirl design is gorgeous and consistent throughout the entire piece. There's also a glow in the dark option. I'm saddened that it was out of stock when I placed my order.

I had tried a few different plugs before this one and I had a bit of difficulty with most of them. My butt just refused to cooperate and hated anything I tried to offer it. I had engaged in anal sex a number of times, but that was years ago and it apparently forgot how this all was supposed to go. This plug, on the other hand, seemed to be suited to its tastes. I plan to level up to The Screw Royal when I finally ace this level.

Silicone is an easy material to care for and maintain. It can be boiled, ran through a dishwasher, disinfected by antibacterial soaps, and is suitable for sharing once fully clean. It doesn't harbor those gross butt germs, either. It would be wise to keep this one wrapped up between uses just so you avoid a not very fun case of fuzz butt. When it comes to lube, you'll want to make sure you stick with the water-based variety. A thicker formula is great for use with silicone anal toys because butts require lots of lube to be happy. Silicone lubes cause the material to deteriorate and become tacky, which is sad because they're normally great for anal adventures. The silicone is quite durable, but make sure to keep it away from sharp objects because cuts and tears are no fun.
