Pleasure plug 2 - butt plug by Happy Valley - review by Jessica (Buttercup Green)

This toy was built to pleasure the bum. The flexible base makes for an exceptional long term wear plug. This plug is more for the step between beginner and intermediate. It will be a good toy for those who want to take the next step in anal. I think advanced users in anal play will find this one too small to satisfy, but it would make an excellent warm up plug to get the body ready for a bigger and badder toy. If you are a complete beginner to any anal play, I suggest the Pleasure Plug 1. It is just like this one, but it has a smaller diameter and will be more comfortable.
This plug has a safe flared base, so no one needs to worry about it getting lost.
As with any anal toy, be sure to use as much lube as you need. Don't be stingy.
There is no curve for proper prostate massage, but it just might be able to rub the sweet spot. It will really depend on your body.

Happy Valley manages to make some of the most colorful and wonderful silicone. Happy Valley is a Canada based company, and this just makes me like Canada just a little bit more.
Silicone is smell and taste free, non porous, hypo-allergenic, phthalates free, latex free, and it can be sanitized by boiling or bleaching.
In my opinion, silicone is a beginner's best friend. Happy Valley's silicone is flexible in the tip, neck, and base. However, it is also firm where it counts. It does not flop around or easily bend when trying to insert.
Sure silicone has some negatives. It picks up lint and hair like no other! It can only be used with water based lubricants. So for those who prefer silicone lubes, I am sorry.
The entire plug is soft and smooth. It does create some drag, but that is easily repaired with some awesome water based lube. The coloring is a swirled, bright, glittery orange. It is extremely pretty, but then again Happy Valley loves to play with bright and eye popping colors.

The design is user friendly. It does not look intimidating or dangerous. It is just a cute little butt plug.
It all begins with a tapered tip, which makes inserting it a lot easier than a blunt tip. The tip is flexible and feels good when thrusting.
After you get past the tip, the shaft gradually increases to the 1 1/4" diameter. This is where the silicone gets firmer and less flexible. It can be uncomfortable when first inserting it, but it gets easier over time.
Next comes the neck. It is a small drop from the bulge to the neck, but it feels amazing to feel your bum suck the slender neck in after you have just been stretched. The base is rectangular in shape, but it is flexible enough to move with the body. It is not even close to being as flexible as the Ryder's base, but it is enough for me. The bottom of the base is shiny and slick unlike the rest of the plug. The pictures below are showing the size by comparing it to my hand and my husband's pocket knife.

This plug has become one of my top ten plugs. My husband almost always reaches for this one. I think he likes the color, and he also like the way my bum easily accepts it. It stays in great during sex. The thickest part of the toy, which is also the firmest part of the toy, can become uncomfortable for both of us when I am on top. He says it almost feels like it is digging into his penis because it is so firm. It excels during doggie style and missionary style sex though.

It is wonderful for long term wear. I have been able to wear this for 5-6 hours at a time. After about the two hour mark, I find that it becomes dry and the neck becomes irritating. I just simply reapply some lube, and I am good to go for another few hours. The base sits perfectly between my ample cheeks. If you have a flatter bum, or you are really thin, the base may not be as comfortable.

Happy Valley suggests either warm water and antibacterial soap, or boiling for 10 minutes when it comes to cleaning the plug.
You can also use your favorite toy cleaner, or wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution.
Another option for cleaning silicone toys is to put it in the top rack of a dishwasher without any soap. It wastes water, but if you just had a huge play session it kind of comes in handy to be able to just stick it in the dishwasher.
After cleaning, I suggest storing it in a Ziploc bag to keep the plug from immediately attracting hair.

The Pleasure Plug 2 arrives in a clear, plastic bag. The top is held together by a folded cardboard piece, and it is stapled together. I wish there was more when it comes to the packaging, but the quality of the toy totally makes up for the lack of presentation. The cardboard fold that is stapled on top of the plastic bag has the words "Happy Valley" written in huge red letters on the front. The front also has the words "Sexy Silicone Toys" written on the front, so the packaging is not discreet.
The back of the fold tells the user how to clean the toy, and it says to stay away from silicone lubricants.
So in the end the packaging is minimal, but at least it has care instructions.
