I've been looking for a plug that I could wear about all day. It would need to be ergonomically designed and soft enough to feel comfortable. It would have to clean up easily. It would have to provide enough stimulation to enhance my experiences but not so much that it derailed my daily routine. I found it! The Love Pacifier Teardrop (mine is purple) is an ergonomic, easy-to-insert, comfortable plug that doesn't break the bank.
It's silicone, and "dishwasher safe" and "phthalate free" are printed on the package. I was first attracted to this plug because of its interesting shape. I thought that it would likely stay in until I pulled it out, an important feature in a plug for daily use. Just for the record, I tried pushing it out and it didn't budge. I tried sucking it up but the handle is much too large to allow that. When I first took the plug out of its package I was a bit concerned because the handle looked as though it would protrude a lot, but it fits comfortably for me. Someone with a much flatter behind might find it uncomfortable or obvious under clothing, though.
It's stimulating enough to make my orgasms more explosive by itself. Add some vaginal penetration and it's enough to send me through the roof. It’s also fun with clitoral vibration or when vibrating the base of the plug. Yoga and dancing are much more fun while I’m wearing the Love Teardrop Pacifier.
The knob on the bottom of the plug helps to adjust the angle of penetration and provides a bit of pleasing stimulation to my perineum. The narrow tip allows for easy insertion and does gently massage as advertised. The generous loop at the base makes it easy to remove and seems strong enough to pass a rope or chain through if desired.

I have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed with this toy. The smell doesn't wear off. Even though the package claims that the product is phthalate-free, it smells like chemicals and sucks up lube like there's no tomorrow. It wasn't as comfortable during subsequent uses as it was at first - it made me sore and irritated. I'd take away two stars if I were to review this item again: one for the discomfort and one for the smell - it doesn't smell or feel like pure silicone.

I'm looking for a comparison between this and say the softer silicone anal toys (ie. "butt hungry").

For a first toy, I'd probably pick a more gentle-looking shape. I was fine with a hard toy at first, but it was the Pure Plug (like a really smooth strawberry-shape). Also I'm kind of against putting lower-rated materials in there, I stick to glass, metal, and silicone for anal toys.
That says TPR Silicone, which I believe is fairly flexible. If you're looking for a hard toy, I think something like the Emerald Explorer looks best (it's $25 and glass). -

This is actually TPR silicone not pure silicone. While TPR does contain silicone how much of the toy that is silicone is the question.
Mmm...my body didn't like it and my mind doesn't like the apparent dishonesty/failure to disclose in the toy's description. Phthalate free? I think not.

It smells horrible and sucks up lube like there's no tomorrow. It irritated my anus, causing swelling and itchiness. That's why it only receives one star. I did submit a follow-up review which was posted, then taken down.

Hmm---do you really mean it "sucks up" lube? I'm in the middle of testing mine for review, and I found that lube skated right off the surface and onto the floor.
