Imperfectly Pacified
The hard, painful ridge along the length of the Love Pacifier makes this toy unappealing as is; if you file down the ridge, which does take some work, you may have a much better experience.

Pros
Easy to clean, cool design, nice size
Cons
Painful ridge along length of toy
The best quality of the Love Pacifier Teardrop is the way it looks. The pink color is vibrant and shiny, and the shape itself is definitely interesting. The "tear drop" end is the part that is inserted into the ass, and the loop on the other end is handy for twisting and moving the prostate massager back and forth. There's a large nub to keep the toy from disappearing too far inside during hands-free play, which also serves to massage the perineum. My partner found the toy promising, with the nifty design and not-too-intimidating size. The insertable length is 3 1/2" and the diameter at the widest point is 1 1/4", and my partner said the size was absolutely perfect for him.
Unfortunately, for a toy with such a promising design, there's one big problem; the manufacturers of the pacifier left an incredibly sharp ridge all along the toy, and my partner noticed it right away upon insertion, even with adequate lubrication. He said it was incredibly painful going in, though once it was inserted it wasn't much of a problem until it came time to pull it out again. We tried trimming it down, which helped a little, and used a nail file to file the rest, but it left a bit of a rough spot, though it was certainly an improvement. This was the main issue we had with the toy.
Despite the unfortunate manufacturing mistake, the Love pacifier has other strong selling points; TPR silicone is relatively safe for anal use, but I wouldn't recommend sharing, as is usually the case with anal toys. It can be fully sterilized, however, by boiling it in water or using an anti-bacterial spray or soap or even sticking in the dishwasher. Be sure to clean after each use, and to use only water-based lubricant, as oil-based can damage the silicone. It doesn't taste or smell weird, and it conducts vibrations well when a vibrator is placed against it.
The packaging itself it showy; it comes in a brightly-colored plastic box with the toy name displayed non-discreetly across it. The toy itself, however, is extremely discreet. It's small enough to fit in a small corner of a drawer or box.
My partner liked the toy well enough once the ridge was gone; he said it was his favorite prostate toy thus far. Though the design is cool looking and different, I wouldn't recommend this toy unless you're into pain or don't mind making some alterations, which does take a bit of work.

Still a staple in my partner and I's repertoire, though he uses it more by himself than we do together. The best part of the design is the little handle, which really does make things easy, and the size.

Seams can be a big problem. There was an ongoing thread in the forum that suggested a couple different ways to remove them, but seems like you managed pretty well on your own. Great review
