Yeah, I don't know where I was going with the title either, but never mind the bollocks...
The Bona Dea is a damn fine toy! It's the wonder-toy! It's great in the vag (if you have one), it's fantastic in the butt (I'd hope you have one of those)! It's smooth, safe, silky silicone with a thick sturdy "cord" connecting the "beads" and a sturdy loop handle!

Use

The Bona Dea is a "bead" style toy. The "beads" are tear-drop shaped, non-graduating (they are all the same size) and connected seamlessly by a sturdy "cord". Since the loop handle, "cord" and "beads" are all made of the same silicone in one mold you don't have to worry about losing a bead "up in there" if you tug aggressively on them, which makes it great for anal use.

Material / Texture

The silicone is smooth with a matte texture, It's semi-firm so it has some give. The silicone surprisingly enough isn't a lint magnet. The matte texture holds onto lube fairly well. You'd want to avoid silicone lube, and spot-test any lubes with silicone components such as dimethicone.

Design / Shape / Size

The teardrop shape of each "bead" provides and easy insertion. The tear-drop shaped silicone "beads" each have their own micro bullet vibe tucked inside which can be used individually or together. There are a few issues that are not so much design flaws as "design hiccups" they don't really affect the toy, they're just mildly annoying.

1 - the micro bullets are push button, so when you push up on the bottom of each "bead" you can accidentally turn it on/off

2 - The cavity for each micro bullet can collect..."stuff" and are kind of a pain to clean

The bullets run on 2 watch batteries each.

When the bullets are in the teardrops the toy is "splash proof" so you can take it into the shower with you if so inclined, but not in the tub.

Performance

The Bona Dea definitely delivers. There is enough space between each teardrop that you really feel each one. The silicone carries the vibration well regardless of if one bullet is turned on or all three. The sturdy construction and large pull loop mean you won't have to get worried about losing your toy when you'd rather be concentrating on getting off.

Care and Maintenance

Once you remove the micro bullets, which is a little tricky, you can boil the Bona Dea, wipe it down with 10% bleach solution, or just wash it with soap and water.

To remove the bullets you can either use the "bullet key" which is included or just squeeze/pushdown on the top of each tear drop until the bullet pops out enough to grab it.

The bullets can be wiped down with soap and water (take the batteries out first).

Experience

I found the "beads" to be just the right size. Girthy enough to be felt vaginally, but not so large as to be uncomfortable in the butt.
