Plug Delight!
An absolutely fabulous plug that will stay in place for as long as you want it to! In two different sizes for both the beginner and the expert, this plug can be left in over time to ready you for anal sex, or simply used to enhance your pleasure. So, lately my partner and I have been experimenting with anal sex. She really gets off on it, but I've had some trouble with it - my comfort level has been lower than I would have liked. So, I ordered the Non-skid butt plug by Doc Johnson. I've been consistently impressed with Doc Johnson products in the past, and this plug is no exception.
When the box arrived I opened it up to find the 1 1/4 inch diameter plug packaged nicely in simple plastic. I opened it easily with a pair of scissors, noticing it's nice red color and faint -not unpleasant-smell of plastic, gave it a quick wash with antibacterial soap (I always like to wash my toys prior to using them the first time) and put a little bit of lube on the tip of it. I used lube with Aloe Vera in it for added comfort. The plug slid right on in, and I was all set.
I wanted to test the comfort of this plug over time to see if it would live up to its non-skid name, and it did. I left it in for 90 minutes, and it didn't move at all! The only issue I had was that the base of the plug was a bit large for me, but I adjusted where it was hitting and it didn't cause any problems. At the end of the 90 minutes, my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the extra stimulation of sex with a plug in, and then removed the plug and engaged in pain-free anal sex! This plug certainly did what I intended it to.
Afterward, I cleaned up the plug using some antibacterial toy cleaner and gave it a good wash. I would like to note that this toy is made of rubber, and should be protected with condoms if you are going to share it. Since I intend to keep it solely for myself, I prefer not to "glove" it, but if you are going to share, please do so safely!

Experience
A note on lube: I was slightly worried that using too much lube with this toy would counteract its non-skid effect, but that proved not to be a problem at all. The Aloe in the lube was very soothing and the plug still didn't move at all. I recommend that if you are a beginner you get some good lube specifically for anal play - I've found that the lube makes all the difference!

So the non-skid is not due to texture? How does it feel going in / coming out friction-wise?
The non-skid *is* due to texture, but once lubed up it slides in with very little resistance (I felt no pain). Out is the same - a little tug, a little push, and no pain at all.
I was wonmdering if the "empty/hollow" base changed anything compared to other pugs you know of?

Since this was the first plug that I've used, I couldn't compare it use-wise to others, but from handling other plugs I'd say that this one doesn't weigh as much, in my opinion.

I'm curious... When wearing this plug for extended periods of time, did you have to do anything particular to get it to stay in? Or did it stay put just fine underneath your clothes? And yes, let us know how it compares when you've tried out other plugs!
@ Lolita: the plug stayed in just fine under my clothes. I had to adjust the base once for comfort, but other than that I had no difficulties.
I'm planning to get another plug within the next month or two, and I'll definitely let you know how it compares!
