Non-skid plug - butt plug by Doc Johnson - review by ~LaUr3n~

Props to Doc Johnson, this butt plug is quite unique! The texture of the material is specifically designed to prevent it from slipping out. With its traditional tapered plug design, it is great for beginners. It is average in size, both length and thickness so it may require warm up toys before use if you are new to anal play. This plug can be used solo, but its design makes it perfect for couple play during sex. Make sure to have plenty of lubricant before attempting to slide this in though!

This plug is made of rubber. The outside shell is rubber, but the inside is filled with something else. I am guessing it is another material made of rubber compound. The rubber does not have that bad of a smell surprisingly. It is hard to the touch, much harder than jelly materials. If squeezed, it is really firm but it has some give because of what it is filled with. Rubber is extremely porous so it is smart to use a condom during play and you should not share otherwise.

The texture kind of feels like the outside of an orange with the stippling. It is not smooth but rather rough. It does not hurt you going in or out though, it just adds enough friction that it prevents the plug from easily sliding out. If you are new to anal play, this texture may not be for you. In my experience, this textured material really did make a difference during sex.

I love the shape of this butt plug. Its tapered design allows for easy insertion. The base has enough of a stem and small size, that it "locks" the plug in place. This also helps keep it from falling out. The base makes it safe for long wear. It is a little funny though. The base isn't solid, so it flexes. This actually is a cool feature even if it wasn't done on purpose. It makes it so that your butt cheeks can be more natural. It doesn't hurt for extended periods of time and can even be sat in.

The size is for average users in my opinion. If you are a beginner, you may need warm up toys beforehand. The total length of the plug is 5.5 inches long. The insertable length is 4.75" long. The fullest circumference is 4.25 inches around. This is a good size to feel full or warm up to anal sex.

This plug feels great. Make sure to lube it up A LOT. The texture feels interesting going in and out, but I wasn't extra stimulated by it. It is painless to slide in and feels awesome once inserted. It really does stay put during sex and made my orgasms more intense. It was nice not having to worry about it falling out or having to stop to fix it if it were slipping. I didn't have any of this happen. For solo play you can wear it for extended periods of time and even wear it out. This is due to the flexible base that I mentioned in the last section.

The size was perfect to feel full but not overwhelmed. I like anal play and I need some anal stimulation before I can use this toy, this may be due to the texture. It is enough to get me warmed up for anal sex after, but also feels great during sex. My partner says that he felt it rub against his head in certain positions and he liked this added feeling.

I did not enjoy this plug for thrusting. The texture doesn't make it slide easily and I just felt that I had to go too slow. Also note this is not harness compatible.

Due to the textured rubber, extra care should be taken to clean the surface. The stippling is an excellent place for foreign bacteria to hide, so be sure to use hot water and soap to clean it. An abrasive brush would be useful as well to scrub the material. It is very strong and can withstand this type of cleaning.

Use water or silicone based lubes with this material or anal lubricant. You can store it in the plastic package it comes in but the package is much larger than the toy. This can be quite annoying if you are storing a lot of toys in the same place. I cut mine down to be smaller.
