The Tender Teacher

This comfortable 1" anal starter can bit tough to manipulate due to its flexibility; unfortunately, the UR3 material is very sensitive and high maintenance. Overall this is a fair product for a butt beginner and at a decent price.

Use

This anal dildo can be used both anally and vaginally with proper care and cleaning. It has all the properties of a decent anal toy and a regular dildo. I normally use larger anal toys(2 to 3 inches) but I wish I would have had this toy five years ago. It is good for us couples as well, we can all use a little helping hand when it comes to toys this flexible.

My wife is a dainty little woman, so she enjoyed the vaginal use of this toy since it was softer than any dildo she has used so far. She says it would have been a good vaginal starter as well, since it is gentle and will allow you to warm up to penetration.

Material / Texture

If you are new to the latex and phthalate free material UR3, get ready for a unique experience. UR3 is a mix between PVC and silicone. The "Ultra Realistic" dildo is slightly veined and almost identical in texture to a "chubby" penis. The only thing it lacks is a loose skin covering. The material is super squishy and will not even sit upright. It has a powdery coating initially which helps give a smooth skin feeling. After washing it takes on a mildly sticky feeling and will pick up lint and stray hairs, so don't set it down until you are done with it. The UR3 material is porous and will harbor bacteria if not used with a condom, and must be used with a water based lube only or it will break down.

The scent is not overpowering ,but the scent will rub off on everything it touches. The smell is akin to the chocolate scented rubber stamps I used as a child. There is no noticeable taste after the powder is washed off.

Design / Shape / Size

This anal "starter" is just what it says, a starter. At one inch in diameter and being as flexible and gentle as it is, this penis replica is just right for someone curious about the world of anal penetration.

A lot of dildos have veins and the blush anal toy is no different. Where is does differ is that the small veins are not noticeable due to the extreme softness. It comes with a hint of blush on the end but that washes away on the first rinse. It looks as though they almost made a suction cup at the base but it is not at all functional and barely even noticeable. Being about the width of a thumb and as long as a standard BIC ink pen, I imagine it would be an ideal travel companion.

Performance

It is a bit hard to initially insert in either orifice(even with my water based lube) being as flexible as it is. Once the Blush is inside it becomes easy to thrust and shouldn't require reapplication of lube if a condom is used. I usually need stiffer toy to manipulate my p-spot so this just couldn't get the job done for me. Though I'm sure it would have in the beginning stages of my anal exploration. I imagine this would fit in a small harness but I definitely wouldn't recommend it because of the limp nature of this product, and it is necessary to have an actual grip on it for stability. Overall, I would say it performed well after initial insertion.

My wife had similar sentiments as far as vaginal performance. She felt it was comfortable and would have been a nice introduction to the world of sexuality for a girl who is shy and hesitant.

Care and Maintenance

This has to be one of the most needy materials as far as care. It is very porous and should be used with a condom, can only used water based lube, may melt if in direct sunlight, and can not even touch other silicone based products or it will suck up their color. Normal antibacterial soap and hot water will suffice for cleanup. Afterward, dust it with a cornstarch powder to keep its realistic texture.

    • High maintenance

Packaging

I prefer my toy to be either heat sealed in their package or at least stapled. This product showed up in a snap-to-close plastic container; that would give me an uneasy feeling coming from a company less reputable than Doc Johnson. With such a high maintenance material I expected all sorts of instructions and tips. To my dismay there were none barring "Do not attempt to warm this product in a microwave or conventional oven."

    • I'm a little ... confused. Or if I'm just being sensitve, ok, someone say so.

But I recently reviewed the "Blush UR3 anal starter probe". Giving it no stars and what I would consider a very detailed review of everything that's wrong with it. And yet:

      1 votes useful
2 votes worth reading, but not useful

I just want to make sure people are voting on the review, and not the product! Because my point of course, was that the product was not useful - so far my feedback has not reflected what was so poor about my review. So, a little help here. If my review was truly all that bad, tell me what you felt was lacking so that I can improve.

      Thanks
    • I'm not sure what is up with that but I have particular things I look for in all reviews and you covered pretty much all of it. You talked about the texture, smell, type of material, the length and width of the toy, and gave your experience with it. The only thing you didn't mention was suggesting the use of a condom on the toy seeing as it is madde of a porous material and cannot be sanitized but overall it was rather good. Don't worry about it we all get a few of those.
    • Don't worry about it. I did for a while after every single review was hit with "not useful at all" votes but I got over it. You just have to let it roll off your back. Some people vote down for numerous different things so just keep yourself open to feedback and start threads such as "how can I improve", etc. We'll be honest.
