All tied up … and loving it!
The versatility of this toy alone should appeal to anyone with adventure in mind. It has the added bonus of the soft silk not leaving those tell-tale marks and betraying your private life in public!Published: July 11, 2011

Soft, strong and long! Many uses and lots to explore!

Possibly a little too long!
We have used this many times for light bondage, role play, and BDSM. The convenience of the rope has encouraged us to explore these areas a lot more than we had previously. We have revisited previous experiences of light bondage and very much enjoyed exploring new ways to tie each other. Furthermore, combining this with role play and BDSM has opened many new avenues! Amazing for such a simple toy!
The rope itself is silk and therefore very soft, so doesn't cause abrasions during rougher play. Even when pulled tight and then tighter, as it is pulled during the session, there were no marks on our wrists or ankles and very little of the discomfort that other things we have previously used have caused. The ends of the ropes have a pieces of silver tape round it, which initially we were going to remove. However, do not fall into this trap! It is very useful for finding the end quickly even in the dark. Even though the silk material ensures that it is soft against your skin, it is still strong enough to be an effective restraint. The rope is of quite some length, enabling you to tie to objects as well as to tie someone up! It could even be used in a group situation to tie more than one participant or in role play to allow the 'sub' restricted movement in the area, like a chained dog! The only downside to the length is that occasionally it does seem too long if, for example, you are only tying the wrists; then you are left with a huge excess of rope which can get in the way.
We have only just started exploring the possibilities of this toy and we are sure there is a lot more to enjoy! Definitely a must in our bedroom!

Actually considering buy a second rope as we have recently been experimenting with differing contstraint methods including binding areas on the body...boobs and buttocks...as well as restrainting arms and legs!

Talk about a misleading/lying branding system. Is Japanese Silk a trademark of theirs that they make out of chinese cotton?

'Silk' bondage rope listed under 'suspension kits'

Hey, Eden? I would like to respectfully suggest you remove this from the 'suspension kits' category. This type of rope is *not* safe for suspension. It's not real silk (Pipedream has confirmed it is actually a cotton/polyester blend), so can fray easily, stretch, and is just a poor idea if you don't want to risk dropping your submissive on their head.

This is a question that could easily be answered by reading the product page! If you just scan it really quickly you can see that hey, these silk ropes are made of rope! It also gives you a link explaining the care of the materials, which is this link! A lot of these questions are better left off of the forums! :)

But yeah, materials are always listed on the product's page, billybobtoy. It'll always be to the left of the product's picture, and it'll link to some basic care instructions. Though if you need more in-depth information, don't hesitate to ask.
