Fetish Fantasy Series Japanese "Silk" Rope - You get what you pay for.
This product is the lowest common denominator - the low price is attractive to complete beginners who have never worked with rope bondage before, but an intermediate or advanced user will likely be disappointed.

I have replaced this rope with black solid braid nylon rope, and am much happier with that choice. It is a matter of personal preference, but I prefer nylon's ability to hold decorative knots without stretching as much, and it feels more "slick" in comparison.

Thanks for the warning. The ropes that you listed in the "similar products" section... have you tried them out yet? Are they of better quality? -
thank you -
@glasskitten - I have been using 1/4" solid braid nylon, and it suits me better. I am not a huge fan of cotton rope in general, but it's just a personal preference. Cotton is softer on the person being tied, and has more "give" (it stretches) to it, as well as a higher "burn" speed - i.e. you can run it along skin much faster without giving your partner rope burns. -
