Use

This harness is suited to everyone! It can be used by woman on another woman or a man perfectly. The front panel can also be taken off and the strap on used by a man for double penetration. The straps are sturdy and simple to get a handle on so beginners will have no problems working out how to put this on. The included dildo is non penis shaped so for those men who want to try pegging but don't want a penis shaped dildo this is perfect. It will work in almost any position and can be adjusted to be worn slightly higher or lower.

Material

The dildo is made out of silicone, which is without a doubt the best material for sex toys. It will last ages and can be sterilized completely. Once a bit of lube is applied the dildo becomes quite slippery which is exactly what you want for anal penetration. If held sideways it will support its own weight without bending, but is still flexible enough to be used comfortably. The supplied bullet is waterproof so it can be used in the shower without the harness. The small flame embossing on the dildo isn't too deep and can't really be felt but it's a nice touch. The front pouch is made out of velvet and is quite nice to touch, it's also machine washable. The straps themselves do have a few harder bits that will soften after a wash or two, so it might be an idea to wash the harness before the first use.

Design / Craftsmanship

The design of the harness is perfect. The straps are all in the right places and the buckles hold quite well. I can't see it coming apart any time soon as it has stood up to some rough treatment. The straps are also quite long, so it should fit a larger person well. The front pouch has a pocket for the included vibrator which goes all the way to the base of the pouch. This means it can actually rest against the clitoris to stimulate the wearer. The dildo is held by a standard clips and o-ring setup, the included o-ring fits the included dildo well but a larger one would be needed for larger dildos.

Size / Fit

The whole harness is extremely adjustable so it should fit any shape and size. By taking the pouch off it can even be made to fit a man. The included dildo is a great size for pegging, being long enough to be usable for thrusting but it's not going to scare anyone off.

Performance

The harness and dildo combination is great. During the first use it held up for extended time through multiple positions and didn't need readjusting. Once on I don't see any way that the dildo could become dislodged as the buckles around the o-ring are quite tight. The bulbous shape of the head of the dildo is excellent for thrusting as once it is inside it won't just slip out. Another bonus is the slight upward curve which hits the prostate or g-spot perfectly.

It sounds like you were the driver with this. The receiver was able to feel the vibrations pretty well even though they are only in the base of the toy? Yes it was used for pegging. I was actually the receiver :p. The vibrations are mostly for the wearer, but I could still feel them a little. I can say that they definitely hit the right spot for her though. I also used it to double penetrate my partner and it worked great for that. The pouch is padded so you shouldn't get the whole force digging into one spot on your crotch.

    • I did just get this yaaaay! anywho, I was wondering, for the harness itself, how should I clean it? Just do spot treaments, hand wash, or cold and gentle cycle in my washing machine?

      I did even have a friend dare me to take it to the dry cleaners.

      I couldn't find any info in any of the reviews or the Tantus website. This is my first harness, so I want to make sure I don't make a beginner's mistake with this.

      Curious - did you just order it or has it arrived already? I suspect the packaging might have some cleaning info.

      I'm not sure how one goes about cleaning velvet, so I can't really be too useful. :P

      It's already arrived, and I checked the packaging and didn't see any care instructions for the harness, just for the dildo it came with.

      I was thinking about purchasing either the Flame harness kit that has a pocket for a bullet or the Joque. Which one would be better for clit stimulation?
    • The Joque has a pocket you can put a couple bullets into.
    • I prefer Missy-G strap-on compared to other strap-ons I have used in the past. I use mine with the Goddess dildo which has a bullet vibrator that attaches to the dildo. I find this combination the best compared to the strap-ons with a pouch.
