A bit stiff, but great texture

This is great for beginners and those who like a smaller and firmer dildo. If you are big on feeling every bump and ridge, the Crystal Cote will not disappoint!

Use

The Crystal Cote is a great dildo that is suited for any type of insertion. It is stiff enough that when you use it anally, it does not bend at all. My partner did not care for it much vaginally, because of its texture and stiffness (which is pretty unrealistic), but I found it suited perfectly for my butt. The texture is probably the best part of the toy when being used anally! The suction cup lends itself well for play in the shower, floor, and well just about anywhere you can get the thing to stick. It is pretty strong.

Material / Texture

Having used 100% silicone dildos before, I know they have a soft supple feel. The Crystal Cote, and its TPR silicone is pretty stiff. If you shove it in a pussy too hard, and it bottoms out on her cervix, I guarantee it will hurt. It is wonderfully realistic, with raised veins, a generous sized head, and a ball sack that looks just like mine! The raised features of the dildo do wonders when being used anally, and its firmness creates an amazing full feeling. Because of its material, it cleans easy, and anyone could take care of it. When it came out of the package, it was not too smelly, so I was pleased.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of this toy is where it falters. I love that it is realistic (apart from the bright pink in the middle, which although not realistic, is quite a turn on) but feel that it could be bigger and longer. The 4" insertable length will fill up any pussy that is a finger deep, and the modest girth should be no problem for anyone, even beginners. It would be nice to see the length made longer and the girth bigger, then this dildo could really live up to its potential. The Crystal Cote is a great beginner dildo.

Performance

This suction cup is fabulous. It stuck to every surface in the shower without moving or slipping. Even surfaces that I thought would be too porous for the suction cup to work, it did. I was, and still am very impressed. The texture and neon colors are truly the best aspect of the dildo, and it would be perfect if not for the small length and width. I tried using a condom with this dildo a few times, and it never stayed on too well, and always ended up rolling off.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the dildo is as easy as taking it in the shower with you. It does not have too many deep nooks that stuff will get stuck in. I found that attaching it to the shower wall, and then cleaning it made it even easier! Water based lubes worked perfectly with this. Storing it was fairly simple due to the size, and I was able stand it up in the toy drawer and not worry about it falling over.

It sounds like you do share this (with your partner), so I would suggest keep trying with the regular condoms or possibly trying the ones designed for smaller toys! Also, it's silicone (even if it is TPR), so be careful with your lubes (water vs. silicone)!

It is nice to know this is a smaller toy though!

Nora, thanks for pointing that out. Certainly is smart to use condoms if the toy is shared between partners (especially anal vs vaginal). I kind of got this as a hand me down from my wife, so I am not worried too much. She no longer uses it.
