A Glass Egg on a Stick Gets the Job DoneWith a long, narrow shaft and an angled head, Sweet Lola is a suitable G-spot toy for anyone, beginner or advanced. She even has a handle for your convenience! She comes in gorgeous colors and isn't very expensive. She is easy maintenance, safe, and long-lasting. Be aware, though: she is heavy and may not be the best toy for longer sessions.
No, but seriously. Lola is a handmade G-spot dildo made of borosilicate glass, which is very strong and heavy. It is hypoallergenic, latex-free, phthalates-free, and non-porous, and rates a 10 on Eden's safety scale. It has no odor or taste, and is very firm and rigid. It has little chance of breaking, but if it does, it will break into large chunks instead of shattering. Always check glass toys for chips and cracks before using, and discard if any are found. Glass is a great material for temperature play. You can cool her off in the fridge or warm her up in warm water before using. Be careful to not use her if she is frosty, as you don't want her sticking to your skin. I chose a blue Lola, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She is a bit darker in person, but is still a very pretty color.
Lola has a very thin shaft with a handle on one end and an angled bulb on the other. The bulb looks just like an egg, except it is a bit smaller. It is almost 2 inches long and almost 5 inches around at its widest point. The whole toy is just less than 8 inches in total length, and the insertable length is just less than 6 inches. The shaft is very narrow and just less than 3 inches around. She is heavy, weighing in at 1 pound. The design of this toy worked very well for me. I found a couple of ways to hold the handle during use (see pictures below), and it was a lot easier than trying to just hold the end of a shaft. I love how the shaft is so thin, as it really allows me to concentrate on the stimulation of the bulb. I think Lola would work well for women with both shallow and deep G-spots because she has a good range in length. Because she is glass, she delivers a good amount of pressure, but be careful to not thrust too hard and bruise your cervix.
Lola is very easy to clean. You can boil her, stick her in the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap, wipe her down with a 10% bleach solution, use toy wipes or cleaners, or just wash her with warm water and soap. She is 100% waterproof and is not a lint magnet by any means. She is compatible with oil-based, water-based, and silicone-based lubricants.
Lola is manufactured by SSA Glass which means, you guessed it, crappy packaging. Actually, there is hardly any packaging. Lola comes wrapped in bubble wrap, tucked inside a flimsy, red velvet pouch that does not even close all the way. She is not the most travel-friendly, but if you tuck her away somewhere safe, she should be good.
I think Lola is an excellent G-spot toy, and the more adventurous could even experiment with some P-spot play since she has a handle. She works well and is low maintenance, and she is very pretty and unique looking. She will last a long time and I’m glad I added her to my collection.
