Baby, I'm stuck on you.

I really do feel like this toy was worth what I paid for it, perhaps even more. It is not, nor does it really look like, an upscale luxury silicone toy - but it also doesn't have the price tag of one, which makes it a highly affordable option for people wanting to try out something with a suction cup and still have a body-safe material. The only flaw is that sometimes the suction cup will pop off during heavy play, or if you adjust your thrusting angle a little too much, which is easily fixed.

Use

This toy is actually quite versatile, it can be used vaginally and for g-spotting, as well as anally (I'm not sure if it's good for p-spotting since I don't have one). The shaft has a slight curve to it, so when it's stuck on a surface and you're angled right, you can get some amazing hands-free g-spot stimulation when you thrust on it. The suction cup also makes it convenient for anal play, because you can rely on a more natural motion of sliding onto it, rather than awkwardly reaching around to manually thrust, or having to be on your back for a good angle. To a small extent, it can be used for some clitoral stimulation during play - I like to just rub along it when it's stuck to the wall for that.

When you're not in the mood for riding or being on your knees though, it's easy enough to use as a regular dildo as well - the wide base makes for a comfortable grip. The wide base is also what makes this toy harness-compatible, so if you're looking for that aspect, it's here!

The shining use of this toy for me is that I can bring it into the shower and stick it to the wall, and finally be able to indulge in shower playtime. Most of my toys are vibrators and even if they say "waterproof," I'm still hesitant - and my non-vibrating ones are glass, which would just be tragic to drop accidentally. This toy? It is built to get wet, and that is one of the best uses I could ask for.

For people who like to get a little more aggressive with their thrusting, this is a good toy to pick, because you can really pick up the pace when you're not relying on your hands alone to move it. Since the toy isn't really hard, and doesn't have a high ridge around the glans, you can play all you like without having to worry about bruising or it catching on your pubic bone.

This toy is gender-friendly and can be used by both sexes. Outside of partner use with a harness, it may be a little unsuitable for DP with a partner - the base is quite large, so it might get in the way if they're trying to thrust around it. Or, you know, if you're just really bored, you can stick it on the wall and bop it around while you watch TV. Not that I did that or anything.

Material / Texture

The Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong is made of 100% silicone, and as such is a highly bodysafe toy. It's phthalates-free and nonporous so it can be safely shared and used between orifices with proper cleaning in between. The material loans the toy a smooth, matte, velvety feel with just a little drag - so you will want to use a fair amount of lube to slick it up it, need be.

It's slightly soft and pliable, but still rigid enough to not be floppy. If I squeeze it in my hand, the silicone will have some give to it, yet it remains totally in shape stuck onto a wall or sitting on the table. This ensures that you won't have trouble getting it in (which can happen with some too-floppy toys), but you'll still have some pliability to play around with. I really like the firmness of this toy as a whole.

Since there's no "stuck on" textures to worry about, it won't be disagreeable to people who dislike that on toys. The Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong is very user-friendly, and can appeal to a wide range of people.

There is a very faint odor straight out of the package, but only if you hold it right up to your nose for a smell test. It's not a bad smell either, and I honestly can barely detect it on my toy after a few washings. Since the toy is nonporous silicone, it won't retain most odors. The toy had no bad taste that I could detect when I tested that. It just tastes like any chunk of silicone in your mouth would.

Note that due to the material, it attracts lint like a Swiffer! You'll want to keep this toy in a dust-free area, and even then you'll likely have to give it a quick rinse before use. There might be a few small pocks and air bubbles at the bottom of the base, but nothing that should interfere with its use.

Design / Shape / Size

The Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong's measurements are accurate to what's listed, give or take a millimeter here and there. I measured mine at 5 1/4 in. for usable length, 5 inch circumference at the widest point of the head, and 5 1/2 in. at the widest point of the shaft near the bottom. The suction cup base is roughly 3 1/4 inches in diameter, and just under 10 inches circumference (so it's a pretty wide and sturdy base). It has a slight curve to it.

The toy is a bright lavender color, and a pseudo-realistic look. It's clearly supposed to be a penis, but it avoids looking like a typical realistic dildo by avoiding flesh tones and smoothing the glans into the shaft so it's just a hint of the shape. The glans doesn't have a large ridge, so it's unlikely to catch on any pubic bone and gives just a nice enough hint of what it is. For people who want a toy that falls in between realistic and abstractly shaped, this is a good choice! It's very "approachable" looking in both size, length, and appearance. Since the shaft tapers to a wide base, this toy is ideal for anal use as well. It's girthy enough to give a bit of a full feeling, but not uncomfortable in any way. I don't think it will be too large for most people vaginally, but always compare measurements to what is comfortable for you before purchasing! Anally, it might be a bit large for new users, so I would recommend a smaller toy for those just venturing into that territory.

The best part about the Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong's design is that it has a suction cup! The whole base acts as suction, and it will stick strongly to most smooth surfaces. It will pop off sometimes during hard play or a too extreme angle shift, but I don't necessarily blame that on the toy design entirely. Plus, since the base is wide, it's easy to reach around behind you and quickly re-stick it on the surface.

The base of the toy will also make it harness compatible, as if the name itself wasn't enough of a hint. It's not really a discreet toy, so I wouldn't keep it in plain view. I think that if you were going to pack it in a suitcase, it would be fine for travel, but the wide base might make it a little awkward in a purse...so its travel potential is really on a personal basis for the user.

Overall, the design of this toy works very well for me, and I'm a little in love with it at the moment!

Performance

All in all, I would say this toy works great! Especially for the price I paid. The toy feels great during use, both vaginally and anally, and the suction cup has been super fun. It's nice to have a toy where I can truly get in some hands-free playtime, and change up positions from what I'm restricted to with manual use vibes and dildos.

I have had little to no problems with the suction cup. It's not perfect, but for me it does the job well. It has popped off just a few times, but I admit half of that is probably my fault from playing a little too hard or trying to adjust my position while it was still in me. Easily fixed each time, didn't distract me from what I was doing at all.

I have used this both in the shower and in a more dry environment, and I think it performs equally well in both. I have noticed that the grip is a little more solid when stuck to the ground for riding than when it's stuck to a wall for doggy style.

Vaginally, I was able to get a lot of g-spot stimulation with this at the right angles, so I was really happy about that. Anally, I have absolutely zero problems with it, and I think it may be one of my new favorites for use that way. I like that because it's silicone, I'm able to safely use it both ways.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is pretty easy to care for, especially if you've already had experience with silicone toys. As with any toy, before use (especially straight out of the package) it's always a good idea to give it a quick wash in the sink with some warm water and anti-bacterial soap.

After use, silicone can be cleaned any number of ways - the regular scrub down mentioned before, a toy cleaner, a light bleach solution, or even boiling it. If you're planning to use it between orifices or sharing with a partner, I do recommend going for a more intensive cleaning with a bleach solution or quickly boiling it - better safe than sorry. The toy is smooth, so you don't have any texture-based nooks and crannies to worry about cleaning. After a wash, you can dry it with a microfiber towel if you have one (I find normal towels can sometimes leave it a little linty), or just air dry it before storage.

The Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong has no motor parts to worry about, so it can safely be submerged entirely in the water. Because it's silicone, you should also make sure that any lube you use is water-based, since it will not react with the material. If you really, really want to use a silicone-based lube, do a patch test on the bottom of the suction cup to ensure no negative reactions will occur beforehand.

I find it very easy to store this toy. Since it has a wide suction cup base and is not extraordinarily long, I prefer to stand it upright in my toy drawer. It can be kept in a toy pouch if desired, or laid down in a toy box (preferably without contact to other silicone surfaces unless you're sure it'll have no reaction).

Packaging

There are only two types of toy packaging that I like: fancy and bland. If it's not entirely discreet and wrapped in a bow, I want a boring old blister pack or box.

Thankfully, this toy fits my personal bill! No awkward models! No weird slogans! The Grrl Toyz Silicone Dong is packaged in a regular clam shell package with very minimal graphics and the name of the toy on it. The pack itself isn't one of those blisters-from-hell that are impossible to open, but rather an easy to open and close clamshell. So if you're an "eager beaver" and want to try it out ASAP, no worries about having to knife your package open like a caveman.

While the design is generally low key, it is not discreet either - your toy is in plain view, and it says DONG right on it, so you're not going to fool anybody if you decide to keep the package on your dresser. The packaging could potentially be used as storage since it's easy to open and close (that is, if you don't mind having a drawer full of blister packs).

There are no directions for use, since that's a little unnecessary for something requiring no batteries, but I will write a set for you: Stick on surface of choice, enjoy.

Personal comments

I wish I had found this toy sooner! I'd been wanting a suction cup toy for ages, but most of them are attached to super realistic looking dildos, and I just find those to be incredibly unattractive (no disembodied weens in my house, thanks). This toy has filled many of my personal playtime needs, and I am extremely happy with it. I wouldn't hesitate to say I've felt the best using this more than most of my other toys. It's been getting a whole lot of use, hope my other toys aren't capable of getting jealous!

Experience

I have had nothing but good experiences with this toy, even with minor suction cup pop-offage.
Follow-up commentary
I loved it when I first got it, and I still do! This has become a bedside staple, but it has followed me into the shower far more than a few times too (showers are just more fun nowadays!). Out of my toys, this one has definitely seen the most use since purchase. I'm still stuck on you, neon purple suction dong.
