Leo - strap-on dildo by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Medusa

I'm rather proud of my Leo. Once he's strapped into my Jaguar Double strap harness, I have to admit, I feel rather hot! This should be considered quite an accomplishment for a hunk of silicone sprouting from an unexpected part of the female body!

A whole 8" isn't necessary for total fulfilment, but it certainly doesn't hurt! Well, I suppose it could if you didn't know what you were doing, but let's assume for a moment that you do. Take one Leo and a reasonable quantity of lube and you won't be disappointed.

The Leo is molded for maximum effectiveness, slightly curved and with a bulbous head. I am very glad to have the sparkly silver version because its shape and fine detailing are ultra realistic and I know I'd be rather perturbed by anything too closely resembling a severed penis! However, it is available in beige for those who like a realistic experience and purple for those who can't cope with too much glitter.

Being made of silicone, the texture is very pleasing; soft enough to be gentle, but firm enough to indulge. The surface can seem a little sticky, causing friction, so Leo owners might prefer to use it with a lubricant; I recommend Durex Play More which can be used with silicone toys and is light, odourless and clear. Silicone toys are known for their hygienic quality. They can be sterilized in boiling water or put in the dishwasher. I recommend the former, especially if you live with your parents!

The wide base makes the Leo very easy to hold in your hand or strap into any o-ring compatible harness. It's certainly nice to be able to use a strap-on dildo with the confidence that it won't pop out. No more awkward exchanges of "Ow!" "Oh sorry!" "Eek!" - at least not due to too little length!

The product description suggests that its curvature makes the Leo suitable for g-spot and prostate stimulation. I can certainly vouch for the former and whilst I don't have the necessary biology to shed light on the prostate situation, I can warn you that this dildo is extremely BIG. It's not just long, but very wide, especially at the head so it's certainly not the dildo for the anally shy.

Although not advertised as a suction-cup dildo, I was flinging my Leo around the room (as one does) and noticed that the base can be attached to smooth surfaces. However further investigation revealed that this cannot be exploited for sexual frolics as it readily comes unstuck.

The glittery appearance is reminiscent of the 80s and reminds me of a disco ball, which is fortunate because the decade of garishness is back and if you can't be trendy when you're a state of sexual ecstasy, when can you be trendy?
