Rainbow mega nubby sex toy review
My little Rainbow Mega Nubby was my first glass to and it was the perfect idea for a first glass toy. I originally thought I am allergic to everything else, try glass! It was a one toe in the water at a time experience. I had no allergic reactions, it goes in smooth and you can heat or cool it. The ability to make it cold makes it like the never melting ice cube. When you warm it up it is la sensation almost impossible to explain, ecstasy is the only real reaction.Published: July 8, 2008
Pros:
temperature adjustable, easy to clean, storage bag
Cons:
nubs can hurt

I do say cool and warm with caution, I suggest to you that you warm it with your own body heat or slightly warm water, it gets HOT and FAST, remember that your vagina is a lot more sensitive than your hands and if it is hot in your hands it is WAY too hot to be in your pussy. When cooling it cold water will do the trick quick and it is easy to make it cool over and over using ice water.
The bumps on this toy were a concern for me when I got the toy, were they going to hurt? Was I going to like the bumps? The only real way to know was to hope for the best. Depending on my body angle the nubs can hurt a bit, however; I am driving most the time so I know how to avoid that. The Mega Nubby is still really one of the best buys for me thus far. Not only is it the prettiest, I do not feel bad if its left out in company comes over, but it is easy to clean, mild soap and water does the trick. And this toy stays clean with the adorable padded easy to use bag that comes with the toy. I will not be going back to other materials any time soon.

Do the nubs make it more pleasurable?
-
They seem like they would hurt, especially on such an unforgiving material.

For questions like these, read the reviews. See what people who have actually used the product have to say. That'll answer your question.

Glass Dildos

Can someone give me advice on which glass dildos work the best?
-
Quote: Can someone give me advice on which glass dildos work the best?I think it depends on your preferences. Do you like slim, or thick? Texture, or smooth? If you like texture, which kinds do you like?
-
Glass dildos are great! They all get really slick with lube, can be warmed (or cooled) in water, and are totally easy to clean. Texture wise there are all sorts of options, like the nubby you pointed out, or ridged, or smooth varieties. What works best depends probably more on your personal preferences than any one design factor.
I would say that if you like softer and more bendable materials generally you may find glass to be somewhat of a letdown, but if you like firm pressure glass is definitely where it's at.
We have a couple of glass toys (a plug and a few dildos) and really like all of them, not too mention they tend to be a little more fun to look at. Personally we like a mix of glass and silicone toys, because they each have things they are better at, but if you are curious about trying a glass toy out for the first time, definitely go for it. You will probably like it.

Do glass toys "hurt" or feel too hard as opposed to rubber/jelly toys? I really like this and want to order one!
-
I haven't tried that specific glass toy, but I have tried glass toys with "nubs" on them. Honestly, they didn't hurt me in the least -- but, the jelly ones do. I don't understand it.
I LOVE glass though. -
Maybe if you move around and find it's too big, but in themselves, they wouldn't generally hurt (in my exp) :)

Glass Toys
-
So I don't know much on the topic, but putting anything made of glass inside my body sounds a little scary. Do glass toys ever break?
-
Not usually, most glass toys are made of a solid piece of Borosilicate glass like pyrex. They shouldn't break unless you drop them and even then they may not break the first time they fall.
You should check them for chips before using them, just in case. -
Glass is one of the safest materials you can get, next to stainless steel and silicone. You can boil it and even throw some into the dishwasher! They'll break if you drop them real hard or throw them (especially the cheaper ones), or if you put it in the oven and then in a bowl of cold water, but not inside you!

Thank you for viewing Rainbow mega nubby – dildo review page!

Glad you liked your first glass item! It's also totally safe- nonporous and sterilizable.
I find that curved glass toys can be easier to maneuver when alone, and helpful in aim.
My first glass toy had bumps too. It also can hurt, but I've found the bumps to be the biggest asset to the toy as well. The only thing that I wish this toy had was a handle -- mine has a bulb at the end that's really nice for gripping. I'm so in love with the rainbow colors, though....
Nice price on this toy too. I too love the rainbow colors; it is just so playful looking :)
This is so cute! How have I never seen this before??!
Is it bad that I saw this and was like "it's the queer rainbow dildo!?!" Thanks for pointing out about being careful with the temps; never boil it before using it (to sterilize it is fine), and don't freeze it; ice water will do the trick.
Welcome to the wonderful world of glass!
I had the same thought Essin' Em so either we're both normal or both crazy. I guess I'll lean toward the latter because I know I can't be normal. Nice review pocketfairy!
This toy is so pretty that if people keep giving it high reviews I'm going to have to buy it. Even though I don't need it and am trying to save money. Oh well!
Great reminder about how hot glass can get--it's really important to keep the differences in sensitivity between fingertips and sensitive regions in mind.
This looks VERY texturized.
Thanks for the review
