From a guy's perspective, this thing is great. Seriously.

As somebody who has historically eyed toys rather skeptically as a large number seem to either threaten my manhood or vaguely resemble some sort of Martian technology, when it came time to finally step outside my comfort zone I did so rather gingerly and with one primary requirement: this must be a couples thing.

After much deliberation and nosing through reviews and opinions, I finally took the next step and ordered the We-Vibe as it didn't seem to raise my usual concerns and, most importantly, it fit my requirement of being a couples toy.

I received it and secretly inspected it with keen interest. It was constructed very well and the silicone body was wonderfully smooth and seemed to be quite appropriate for the anatomy it was to be occupying. The instructions were simple and, despite the fact it required an initial 24-hour charging period, there didn't seem to be much as far as a learning curve. I imagined usage would be fairly intuitive based on the simple drawings, and the shape seemed to dictate a very deliberate use. I initially was uneasy about the whole thing as buying it was one thing, but asking somebody to take a strange little silicone "U" and work it into their nether regions seemed a bit awkward. However, after seeing and holding it, I found that it was a very elegant little thing and there should be no issue with approaching the topic.

After a bit of shyness and a round of colds for both of us, we finally got an opportunity to try the We-Vibe out and, to be blunt, it blew our minds.

My initial thoughts on it being intuitive to use were correct, and it took very little effort to integrate the We-Vibe into the act. The only trick was finding the right setting as it would have been easy to get overexcited very quickly given some of the faster pulse/vibe settings. Although I thought it might be a bit awkward or uncomfortable working my way in alongside it, the shape and angles worked out quite well, and despite a somewhat peculiar initial sensation, I had no trouble at all.

We found it easy to keep the We-Vibe where it belongs through a variety of positions and squirming around, which was a real treat as there was no need to break stride to make any readjustments. We both derived an immense amount of pleasure from the little pulsing toy, and much to my surprise it added a certain degree of focus which allowed for a very long, languid session. It was particularly good for going slow and just keeping our bodies pressed together so the outside half of the vibe buzzed tightly between the both of us. In all, when all was said and done, I don't know if I would say the earth shook, but our toes were definitely curled.

Cleanup was quick and easy. The silicone polished up nice and is ready to use next time. One really nice technical aspect is that the charger plugs into a self-sealing receptacle and the button that turns it on and off as well as cycles the vibe/pulse modes is just a small raised bump in the silicone, so there is nowhere that goes uncleaned or requires special attention.

All in all a fantastic experience and a great product for somewhat timid beginners. I would highly recommend this for any couple who wants a mutual experience. It definitely enhances sex and brings you closer together.
