As an insertable couple's toy to be worn during intercourse, the We-Vibe II was like nothing we had ever tried before. The principle behind it is great: it is supposed to give the woman clitoral vibrations, G-spot vibration, and added pressure. It is supposed to give the man an added feeling of tightness and fullness while he is inside of her, plus vibration. However, in its execution and with the pricetag, the We-Vibe II failed to impress. The pulsation patterns and intensity were good. They were not enough to get me off alone, but combined with the thrusting of my partner they worked. However, the internal side is a bit too full inside of me, making it uncomfortable at times for him and causing it to shift from side to side when switching positions. If you've had children or have had your partner mention that your vagina isn't quite as tight as it used to be, the We-Vibe II could be great for adding that tightness that used to be there, but so could some Ben-Wa Balls or Kegel exercises! But I digress...

The material of the toy has a lot of "drag" to it. This means that your fingers (and other things!) won't slide easily across the toy without excessive lube. This also makes it difficult to use if he's wearing a condom, as the materials might catch and tear. This drag might be intentional to help the toy stay in place, or it could just be a result of the particular silicone/ABS blend that We-Vibe tends to favor (The Touch and We-Vibe III also sport this texture). However, my man didn't like the feel of it against his penis, and when lubing it up it became like a little torpedo that would shoot right out of me.

That's not the only negative thing that we encountered with the We-Vibe II. The button that you use to cycle through the settings is located at the tip of the clitoral side, but it doesn't push easily. I find myself having to hold onto the bottom of the toy while pressing down on the tip to change the settings. This is not an easy feat mid-position. We-Vibe has added 40% more power and a remote to the next model, The We-Vibe III, so some of the issues I encountered can be avoided by upgrading to that version. However, it still is the same texture, which was my major gripe with it.
