We-vibe 2

G-spot rabbit vibrator by We-vibe

While I do believe this is truly a great idea and the we-vibe does deliver, sometimes, we had a bit of a struggle making it work for us. It's great for couples looking to spice things up, it's comfortable, well made and has rumbly vibrations. I remain satisfied with my purchase but there is definitely room for improvements.

extremely useful review

The We-vibe II was designed to be a couples vibrator that can be worn during sex. This is where it shines, providing dual stimulation during intercourse while also stimulating your partner. It can also be used as a solo toy, along with another toy, for a twist on oral for men, or during anal sex, making it extremely versatile.

It features two motors for dual stimulation, a rechargeable battery, small size and body friendly material. Keep in mind that the We-Vibe II is merely water-resistant so it can go just about anywhere except for a bath or swim. This great design provides endless fun that can be taken almost anywhere.

Material / Texture

The We-vibe is made of medical grade silicone. It is latex- and phthalates-free and completely non-porous.

Although I did not taste it, there is no smell to it.

There is a tiny bit of squish to the silicone. The part that links the arms is very flexible but the arms themselves do not bend at all. The silicone is soft but has a lot of drag to it. The inner surface of both arms are lined with ribs. These ribs are much more prominent on the internal arm than they are on the external clitoral arm. Together, the ribs and the drag of the silicone allow it to better grip to your body. The ribs do not offer much by way of texture since this isn't really a thrusting toy.

The We-vibe II logo is embossed on the outside of the clitoral stimulator. There is a small seam that runs around both sides of both arms. This seam does not distract at all from its use.

My one complaint, and its a small one, is that this silicone will attract any and all lint, dust, or pet fur within its vicinity. I think my We-vibe might be fluffier than my cat. No big deal, just make sure to wash it off before each use.

Design / Shape / Size

This is a C-shaped vibrator, meaning that it has two arms, one for clitoral stimulation and the other for internal G-spot stimulation, that are connected in the middle. This middle portion is very flexible and will bend to fit many body shapes. There is some solidity and springiness to this connecting part but after extended wear it does become a little flaccid. Do not fret though, it doesn't stay that way. It will regain its original shape when not in use.

Some of my measurements are pictured below: Note that the internal arm is 3/4" thick at its thickest point near the tip and tapers down to 1/4" thick.

The internal arm is thinner and shaped more like a teardrop, while the external arm is thicker and wider.
The skinnier middle portion linking the arms can be pushed up internally for a deeper reach for the g-spot. This way it can fit many body types. The external arm may be long for some people but I like to hold it so I have better control and can move it around.

The We-vibe is pretty discreet. It's not phallically shaped and fits nicely in the palm of my hand so it's pretty small. If it were left out, no one would assume it was a sex toy unless they already knew it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The We-Vibe features a single push button that allows you to cycle through the vibration speeds and patterns. This button is a small nub located at the top of the clitoral arm. One push turns it on. Push again to get to the next intensity and then keep pushing to get through the patterns. Once you've gotten through all nine settings, push again to turn off. If at any time you need to turn it off right away, holding down the button for a few seconds will turn it off. This can be tough though since the button is difficult to push and even more so to hold down. However, if turned off this way, the We-Vibe will remember the pattern or intensity at which you left it.

Each arm has its own motor. The G-spot arm does stimulate my G-spot and my partner is able to feel these vibrations. The clitoral arm delivers great stimulation but will not give you any pressure unless you push down on it.

The vibrations are fairly rumbly but I don't think I'd say they're especially strong. It is strong enough to get me off on high speed but I normally don't have to use my vibrators on their highest speed. It would be nice if it had more variety in steady vibration speeds. I'd compare the strength of the We-Vibe on high to Mimi's second speed.

Here is an image I found depicting the 9 settings, of which are 2 steady vibration intensities and 7 patterns:

Once inserted, the thin arm is very unobtrusive and leaves lots of room for him (or a dildo) to enter behind it. It does give you that filled up feeling though. Not that that's a bad thing, but it may be for some.

One thing I think is worth mentioning is that it has gotten louder with use. It was quiet when I first got it but, after roughly 6 months, it now sounds like its rattling as well as being a little louder. It doesn't seem to rattle much once it's in place. It is still pretty quiet though, it definitely won't be heard through a closed door.

The battery is rechargeable and lasts a long time. I have never had it die on me mid-bang. The We-Vibe site states that it should last a couple hours on a charge and 2 months on standby. There are 3 dents right at the tip of the clitoral arm. The charger slides straight into the middle dent. Make sure to push in it all the way since there is no light or anything to signal that you're charging correctly. It is suggested to charge up the We-Vibe for 24 hours before its first use. It can take a while to charge but you can not overcharge it so by plugging it in whenever you think about it you'll keep it going strong and it won't have a chance to slow down.

Here you can see the 3 dents I mentioned and the control button at the top.

The charging port is open so I wouldn't immerse this under water. It is said to be water resistant. I have taken it into the shower with me and it's been fine. No baths with this baby though.

Care and Maintenance

The non-porous silicone won't harbour bacteria so cleaning is a breeze. You can wash it with soap and water or use a toy cleaner. Because it is water-resistant, I have washed it under a stream of running water, just don't submerge it. Do not boil the We-vibe either. The only thing that might require some attention when cleaning are the ribs on the internal g-spot arm.

Use only water-based lubricants with this toy.

The We-Vibe should be stored in its natural form so it doesn't get bent out of shape.

We-vibe boasts a fully recyclable packaging. The box is sort of discreet and very tasteful.

The We-vibe logo is written across the top of the box and the toy can be seen through a plastic cut-out. The box is tasteful with no obscene images. There's a little information on the back of the box. Inside you'll find the toy, a satin storage pouch, the charger and an instruction manual. The instruction manual describes how to use the we-vibe and your 1-year warranty, in 6 different languages. I had found much more information by navigating the we-vibe website than I did reading through the instruction booklet.

I have long since discarded the box and I use the satin drawstring pouch it came with for storage. While I like that it comes with something to keep my toy in, my main complaint about the pouch would be that the satin lining is not sewn in. So every time I go to get my We-vibe, the lining comes out stuck to it. Then when I put it back in the bag, I almost have to shove it in since the silicone grabs onto the fabric.

Personal comments

I have discovered that rather than pushing the button where the nub is, it's easier to push directly down at the very tip of the external arm.

I would strongly suggest lots of lube on the internal arm so that everything glides nicely. To keep it in place, use little to no lube on the external arm.

The intensities of the patterns cannot be adjusted. I find that within any particular pattern the intensity varies so much that I do not really use them. They are ok for some teasing and a little something different, I guess. Each to his own though.

I doubt this would be strong enough for those power queens out there. I wouldn't call it hands free either since I can't help but use my hand to push down on the clitoral part to get some pressure.

There is no locking mechanism but with that button, who needs one.

Our fun with We-vibe has been somewhat of a roller coaster ride. I bought this at a local sex shop before I had discovered Eden. To my dismay, I could have saved a little money had I bought it here. Nonetheless, I had heard nothing but great things about this toy and was so excited to try it out.

Eager as I was to try it, I did harbour a few concerns. How's it all going to fit in there? Will it hurt or be uncomfortable at all? Lo and behold, no pain whatsoever and no issues with him fitting in there too. The first time felt very snug and full but maybe I was nervous about using it or just not used to that filled-up feeling.

There was a bit of a learning curve. I found the button extremely frustrating to press, especially in the heat of the moment. If you're someone who likes to play around with you're vibration settings and change functions all the time, this one may frustrate you as well. Lubed hands will for sure make things harder and the button needs to be pushed down fairly hard to work. I have to use one hand to hold it and the other hand to push the top straight down to get it to change. I've gotten used to this though and it doesn't really bother me as much now. On a positive note, this button makes it travel-friendly in that I doubt it would ever accidentally get turned on.

I've also discovered that the success of this toy is dependant on the position. Different angles will allow the we-vibe to either hit the right spots internally or not, for both of us. It was trial and error. What delightful homework! If our bodies are close together, I have to slip my hand in between us to hold the clitoral arm in place, so that his belly doesn't drag it away from me. I tend to keep one hand on the external portion either way so I can press down and get some pressure. Left alone, this will not give you any kind of pressure. If that's what you like and you're thinking this will be a hands-free option, look elsewhere.

I have yet to experience a G-spot orgasm but I think the We-vibe has brought me closer to it. We are still experimenting with different positions and I am liking it a little more every time we use it.

This has also been a fun thing to use for kegel exercises. On it's own, it will slip out and I enjoy pulling it in and out with my muscles.

Furthermore, the We-vibe can be placed on either sides of the scrotum or at the base of the penis during oral. Both these techniques were a big hit for us and offered up something different and fun.

Moreover, the last pattern is the Cha-Cha and every time we get to that one, we can't help but giggle. It's a great little addition, I think.
Follow-up commentary
Well I can no longer say that I've never had this die on me mid-bang. Though I'll admit I was mostly at fault. The vibrations get noticeably weaker when the battery is running low before it dies altogether. Recharging takes a while too so it really is best to keep it charged up so it's always ready to go.

We recently purchased a harness and I wore the We-Vibe under the g-strap. The strap held the We-Vibe in place while giving me constant pressure and much added pleasure during harness play.

We are still experimenting with new positions with the We-Vibe during intercourse. We are having just as much, if not more fun than ever with it.

P.S. My partner has informed me that his favorite position when using this during PIV sex is doggie style/rear entry. I quote: "It's f***ing amazing".
