The We-Vibe II is a product that can really help a couples' sex life. It is one of the first toys I've ever seen that is designed to both pleasure the woman and the man at the same time. I had been very excited to get this toy and kept an eye out for a sale, before taking the plunge.

A little info about the We-Vibe II, first of all. It is made out of food-grade silicone which has no smell or taste. It is also latex free. The toy itself is shaped like a U. The toy is rechargeable and the small hole to plug in for the recharging is next to the "on button" which is located on the clitoral arm. Charging takes several hours, but the charge lasts for a long time. We use this a couple of times a month and usually go almost two months in between charges.

The We-Vibe II is designed so that one part of the toy is inserted into the vagina and the textured ridges and vibrations help stimulate the G-spot. The other end of the "U" rests against the woman's clitoris and the vibrations help provide stimulation. There are two motors within the toy so that each end is stimulated and not just experiencing "residual stimulation" as my wife said about another toy. It is very flexible and designed to be used either for solo play for women, or with a partner. The toy is made so that the male partner (or a female partner with a dildo) can insert the penis while the toy is still active inside the woman. The vibrations then provide stimulation, to both, the woman and male partner.

You turn the toy on by a button at the clitoral end of the We-Vibe. This is the most difficult/frustrating part of the toy for me. The button is tiny and can be very difficult to turn on. While it never kills the mood entirely, it can dampen it if you're spending a long time trying to turn the toy on and adjust it to the right speed. There are nine speeds of vibration and stimulation that are cycled through by pushing the button down. It is supposed to be that one push turns the toy on, but I've found I usually have to hold the button down for a moment before it will turn on. There does need to be a good amount of force/pressure applied to the button in order for it to go to the next setting. After you have cycled through the settings that next push of the button would turn the toy off, or you can hold down the button for several seconds to turn it off. Warning, it is difficult to hold the button down, so turning it off can be a challenge. I would also recommend that you find the right setting before beginning intercourse, because it is nearly impossible to adjust while in the middle of the act, or at least we've found it to be. The vibration levels/speeds vary from constant and with varying intensities to sporadic vibrations. My wife found the constant speeds to be the best for her.

Cleaning of the toy is very simple, a toy wipe, or toy cleaner as well as soap and water can clean this toy easily. I would not place it in the dishwasher as there are motors inside the toy that would be ruined. I would also not use silicone lubricant with this toy, as it will degrade and destroy the silicone on the toy over time.

The We-Vibe II comes with a lovely satin bag that we store the toy, as well as the charger, in. It's great for storage and easy to throw in a suitcase when we are going on a trip.

This is still one of the toys that is a go-to in our collection. I'll admit I have my eye on the We-Vibe III because of the remote control possibilities, but for stimulation while actually having intercourse this is a fantastic product and has a long battery life.
