Delight - g-spot and clitoral vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Sammi

The Delight is best used as a solo toy, and is meant to be positioned and slightly moved back and forth or left in one place. Don’t try to thrust with this one – you will likely hurt yourself!

If you can get the Delight inserted correctly, the tip will stimulate your g-spot, and the body will nestle in your labial folds and against your clit. The buttons will be right at the top as you look down, and easy to press up or down. It may take a bit to get this right, however. The Delight is fairly rigid, and if your body doesn’t curve the same as the delight does, this can be a torturous process getting it in position. The reward will be worth the effort, however.

The Delight is made of silicone and thermoplast plastic. It is non-porous, phthalates-free, and latex free. The shiny white areas are the thermoplast, while the black matte areas are silicone.

The black areas have a bit of a drag to to them, but overall they are smooth. There is a barely noticeable seam that runs around the Delight, but it isn’t noticeable during use.

The Delight is a German made rechargeable vibrator from Fun Factory, and looks a bit like a striking snake or an S. The Delight comes in 3 lovely contrasting color combinations. I chose the black and white to coordinate more with my play. In these colors, the Delight reminds me of the Yin & Yang symbol.

The Delight has a G-spot tip, and is 6” long with a 1 3/8” diameter. Only about 3 1/2" is insertable however. The Delight is shaped to hit your G-spot, and curl out between your labia and up onto your clitoris for dual stimulation. The tail of the Delight has a hole which is big enough to get one to two fingers in if desired.

The Delight is rechargeable, and it charges by nestling in its storage case. The power adapter, with a generous 55” cord, plugs into the back of the case. The power cord features a slim-line plug, so it fits easily onto a power strip without taking up 2 plug spaces like larger adapters do.

On the back of the Delight are 2 metal connection points, which line up with the points inside the case to charge it. Inside the Delight is a lithium-ion battery. The Delight should be charged about 3 hours before its first use. The +/- button on the bottom slowly burns bright red and then fades while charging occurs.

Unlike some rechargeables I have, the Delight can’t be overcharged, and it will achieve maximum lifespan if kept fully charged. I like not having to worry about if I left it plugged in and charging when I go out of town for a few days! On a full charge, the Delight will run for 90 minutes on medium intensity, and close to an hour on high.

The buttons that control the Delight are easy to use. When + is pressed for one second, the delight turns on at its lowest level. Pressing + repeatedly ramps up the vibrations to a maximum level, and then pressing it again will give you access to 3 extra modes:
- Slow waves of pulsing
- Medium pulsating waves
- Fast pulsating waves

To leave the modes, a simple press of the – button will set the Delight back to its regular high vibration mode. Pressing – repeatedly turns the Delight off.

The vibrations on this toy are phenomenal, as they are on most Fun Factory toys. They absolutely rock, and are some of the strongest I’ve felt in any sort of vibrator to date. The Delight is fairly quiet as well. It's a bit louder than my cell phone on vibrate, but can't be heard from behind a closed door, nor is it very noticeable if you've got some low music or television on in the background.

The Delight is splashproof, but not waterproof. It’s too bad, as this could be extremely fun to use in the bathtub (but not the shower – I don’t think I’m enough of a contortionist to make that work).

The Delight should always be cleaned before and after use with antibacterial soap and warm water. It should never be submerged in water to avoid damage, and it should be completely dry before storing in its case. Only water-based lubricants should be used.

The Delight comes with several safety precautions. It should be kept at lest 40” away from medical devices. You should also ask a doctor before using the Delight if you have a pacemaker (although it should be compatible with most). It should be kept away from hot surfaces (like your stove) or explosive atmospheres. Also keep it away from water, and charge it within 60” of a power outlet (don’t use an extension cord). The Delight should be kept away from humidity, heat, and direct sunlight.

The Delight comes packaged in the signature Fun Factory tan and red box, with a drawing of it on the front. Inside the box is the Delight, a shiny black storage/charging snap-case (which looks like a large eyeglass case), and a power adapter. The case has a protective film on the top to help prevent scratching, and magnets hold it closed. There’s also a 4 page instruction book in several languages, a sample of Toy Fluid water-based lubricant, and a small product brochure.

After charging the Delight up the first time, I was anxious to try it out. It took me several minutes of fiddling with it to get it into the right position. Luckily it was one of those days where I had some patience left. Once I got it situated the buttons were easy to press, and the vibrations – oh the vibrations!

Rocking it back and forth was intensely pleasurable, and it did bring me to orgasm. Each time I used this, however, I had to spend time getting it in right. Apparently the learning curve for me is high. I would have preferred this to be a bit more flexible to make it easier to insert, but once it’s in, I’m ready to go.

My husband took one look at this and shook his head. I thought it might be good for play when I was restrained, but he couldn’t get it in right – he had more trouble than I did! He was hurting me trying to get it in, so I had to take the time and get it in position before we could play. It did stay in place well like this, however, and didn’t tend to slip out or move out of place much, even on high. The biggest problem was his inability to adjust the vibrations due to the button placement and get it initially situated. If we use this in the future this way, I will have to do the positioning and setting the vibrations first.
