The Posh was my very first vibe and now, two years later, it still gets plenty of use. The Posh is best for clitoral, external stimulation. The toy unfortunately has a rigid circle near its tip which many have found painful when they attempt to insert it--because of that, I personally never attempted to use it for penetration. I have found the rigid circle is great for added texture, creating a nice drag when using a rubbing motion. The Posh is also completely waterproof, so it can be used in the shower or bath and clean-up is easy because I can just wash it in the sink. I'm actually not a big water toy user and have found the Posh to be perfectly suited to just my bed.

When I first got the Posh, it did have more than a little chemical odor; however, with a few washes this went away. The material is TPR silicone, a silicone/rubber compound, which means its phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and clean-up is just soap and warm water. Be sure to use only water-based lube though, no silicone-based lube! Unlike solid silicone toys, the Posh is very rigid, not bendy at all. However, like silicone toys, it tends to attract dust and hair. Besides the circle I mentioned earlier, the Posh does not have any other texture and is very smooth, even silky. This makes it a great first vibe as the texture is not intimidating. I got the Posh in the yellow, which, rather than the pale sunny yellow in the picture, is actually bright lemony-highlighter yellow.

Overall, I really love the design of the Posh. It's 5.5 inches, long enough to give me a good grip when I'm using it, but small enough for easy storage. It has a tapered point which then bulges (that's where the circle is) then narrows again. This narrowed part creates the perfect handle. I wish it had come with a storage bag, which would have made storage even easier.

At first glance, if accidentally seen, I don't think someone's first thought would be: Vibrator. Well, maybe it would be, but the Posh is not penis-like at all, pretty short, and the colors are bright and cheery, so I would say the Posh is discreet. I've traveled with it and never had any problems with it being discovered. At its handle, the top unscrews for one AA battery. I've never had any problems with this becoming loose during shower play or cleaning, so no worries about that. As it only uses one AA battery, the Posh is very lightweight, which is a nice feature for a clitoral vibe as it won't tire your hand during use.

My only objection to its design is the circle. With its tapered end, it appears to be have designed for penetration, so this is a pretty unfortunate shortcoming. Considering the price, quality of material, and waterproofness, I don't mind the shortcoming...very much. It also only has one button, which may bother some people. It's a push button on the end of the Posh which means if you want to turn it off, you have to scroll through the levels. The Posh only has two levels, so I didn't find this to be very inconvenient.

I love the Posh! It's worked great for me during the two years I have used it and still looks brand new. It only uses one AA battery and performs for quite some time before it needs a new battery. I want to emphasize that a fresh battery makes a HUGE difference in the vibrations, so be sure to switch that out as needed.

As far as vibrations go, some have found the Posh to not be strong enough. This is definitely a subjective opinion. I have actually have only ever used Posh's lowest level because the highest was too strong for me! However, if you need stronger vibration, then this might not be the best choice. I wish the Posh had at least one more level for a little more variation as it only has two. The vibrations themselves are very nice though, a bit "buzzy," which is not too surprising considering the Posh is barely over $10. However, under the covers, this is barely noticeable. In fact, the Posh is very discreet as far as sound goes. It cannot be heard behind doors and is pretty quiet under the covers.

I cannot promise the Posh will be earth shattering, honestly it has not been for me. However, it never fails to deliver a satisfying climax and is my go-to toy for a basic relaxation session.

The Posh is very easy to care for. Cleaning is easy since its TPR silicone and waterproof, I just wash it in the bathroom sink with warm water and antibacterial soap. Like I said earlier, it did not come with a storage pouch, but I just slip it in an unpaired sock--yeah, college-student style. Be sure not to store it separately, not with your other silicone toys though.

Honestly, I hated the packaging. It was tacky and rather than making me feel like I was buying something to pamper myself, left me feeling like a perve--not a good first sex toy experience! It had a porn-star looking woman on the cover, which to me means the company is forgetting their target audience! It was also packaged in the kind of plastic which takes forever to open. Though I love the Posh, if I had seen it at a store, I would have never been drawn to it because of the ugly packaging.

Overall, I have found the Posh to be the perfect beginner's toy. It's not intimidating, cute, versatile, and made from quality material. The price also makes it a great option for those who are more frugal or hesitant about using a toy. However, as even a couple years later I continue to use the Posh, I also think it is a great basic or waterproof vibrator for anyone's toy collection.
