Dear Fonzie, it's not you, it's me.

Fonzie is not a bad vibrator, he's simply a bad fit for my body. If you've had issues with rabbit vibes, you may want to give this one a pass as it may be more of the same for you. If you're looking for a petite G-spot vibe with clitoral stimulation, this may work for you.

I wanted to love you Fonzie!

Fonzie, Fonzie, Fonzie... I wanted to love you so much. I bought you when the Inked g-vibe was out of stock. You had favorable reviews, came in my favorite color (purple), and were both body-safe AND water-proof. Alas, you and I weren't meant to be.

My history with rabbit vibes isn't great. The main attraction seems to be having intense clitoral stimulation coupled with some crazy shaft action. I've never had one that fit my anatomy correctly. On the ones with actual rabbits, the ears are generally painfully stabbing me in the vulva and labia. My clit never gets much love unless I shove the bunny's face and/or ears into a better position. By the time I do all of that, I really don't want to continue.

Fonzie is a non-traditional-shaped rabbit vibrator, so my hopes were that I could finally see what all the fuss was about AND get a good G-spot buzz, to boot. Even with the different shape, rabbit vibes and I aren't a good pairing. My problems with Fonzie extend beyond rabbit issues, though.

Material / Texture

Fonzie is made of a silicone that is wonderful to touch. He is rather firm but still has some give. The texture isn't slick, but is rather a matte/velvet. It feels lovely. It also attracts lint, hair, and everything else like crazy. This is par for the course with silicone. Thankfully, being silicone, it's also easy to clean up!

Ugh, I just cleaned you!

This rabbit vibe has some raised ridges along the upper portion of the shaft. They may look intimidating, but the material has enough give that they shouldn't be a problem for most people. A little lube may help ease things along if there's too much drag for you. Personally, I like the stimulation when penetrating, but once inside, I didn't notice it as much. This may be due in part to Fonzie's size.

There are seams along the length of the shaft on both the upper and lower sides. These weren't too distracting, as the material is soft enough to make it not as noticeable.

Design / Shape / Size

Lil Fonzie

Fonzie easily fits in the palm of my hand. I'm 5'3" with a size 4-1/2 ring finger, so my hands are pretty small. This vibe might be a good choice for a beginner or someone that prefers a more petite toy. I'm hardly a size-queen, but this toy didn't really do much, other than tease me.

Fonzie vs Inked g-vibe

Fonzie has a much shorter usable length than the Inked g-vibe. Girth-wise, he is a bit fatter as he tapers down from the head. Right at the end of the usable length is the "rabbit" portion of the vibrator. For me, this didn't actually hit my clitoris or much of anything sensitive--it was just kind of there. The curve of the head didn't seem to reach my G-spot, which could have been due to length or the vibrations not being intense enough.

Ideally the G-spot curve of the shaft, coupled with the ridges and the clitoral stimulator, should provide a pretty intense orgasm. On some women it probably does, but it simply just didn't work with my anatomy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

One of the good things I can say about Fonzie is that it is waterproof! Shower-time makes for an easier cleanup of both yourself and the toy. As I mentioned with the Inked g-vibe, you can play with this toy in the water and not have to worry about laying down towels if you start getting a bit too juicy. Unfortunately, I never got to that point.

To turn this toy on, simply press the button at the tip of the battery cap. There are several vibrations that range in intensities and patterns, including weird pulsations and roller coasters. I've never gotten much out of the latter two, so I didn't really use them much. To turn the vibe off, just press the button and hold it for a few seconds. Having controls this simple is both good and bad. It's good because there's no fumbling around with a remote or with turning a knob. It's bad because it's all too easy to hit it in the heat of the moment.

The battery compartment snaps/slides on and off. Just give it a gentle tug and be sure to press firmly on it to get it back into place. We don't want any water going in there.

Vibrations didn't transfer that well through the toy. They seemed to be centered at the base, but were not powerful enough to really move the clit stimulator. The G-spot curve didn't receive much of the vibration action either. Considering the size of the vibrator, it's rather odd that the intensity was this muted even when maxed out.

Fonzie is rather quiet, which is good if you have roommates. Unlike Inked, which sounds akin to a buzz-saw, this toy has more of a hum that can easily be muffled by your sheets or by running water. I would have happily traded this for stronger vibrations.

Care and Maintenance

Fonzie is easy to take care of. You can use soap and warm water, or a toy cleaner, but since this is a vibrator, I would not recommend putting him in the dishwasher or boiling him. Being waterproof has its limits. Be sure to use a water-based lube, since this is a silicone toy.

Inside Fonzie's box is a clamshell type plastic packaging, which works as a makeshift home for him until you have better. The toy is also small enough that you can stuff him in a drawer without problems. Be sure to store him without the batteries in as the on/off button can be accidentally pressed, which would wear out the batteries.

While Fonzie is easy to clean, be sure to pay close attention to the ridges. Things can easily get stuck there, such as soap or lube.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

As mentioned above, Fonzie's inner packaging would be suitable for storage. The instructions were pretty useful and made sure to mention how to turn him off. While the packaging isn't offensive, it isn't really discrete either. If you were to give this to someone as a gift, everyone would know it's a vibrator. Keep this in mind if you are wanting to gift this in a mixed crowd.
    • Good for storage
    • Recyclable
    • Very informative

Experience

The best time I had with this vibrator was as a tease through my panties. The vibrations, as muted as they were, still felt delicious through my undies. Unfortunately, the actual use of the toy was very unsatisfying. If it were a bit larger and the vibrations more intense, perhaps it would be a keeper. The "rabbit" portion can't hit my clitoris unless I shove it in place, but this is less the vibe and more my anatomy.
