A Well-Made Disappointment

The Fonzie is a well-designed, quality vibrator that doesn't work with my anatomy. For someone else, it could be a five star vibrator-- for me, it was a learning experience. If you love texture and have a G-spot that is further inside, this may be the toy for you.

Use

Fonzie is designed as a dual action vibrator, but can be used for only G-spot or only clit stimulation. It also works for teasing any erogenous zone. It can be used for long solo sessions or quickies, and in or out of the water.

Material / Texture

Fonzie is made of 100% silicone, one of the safest and sexiest materials out there. The surface is a little bit grippy, which adds friction and provides more stimulation-- but if you want a smoother experience, you can always add more lube. It has no smell, even right out of the box. The ridges on the shaft are probably not for beginners, as I discovered.

Design / Shape / Size

When I saw this toy, I lusted after its design. Simultaneous G-spot and clit stimulation? Yes please. Textured ridges along the shaft? I'd never tried it, but I wanted to. A clit stimulator that didn't look like a small, cute animal? Sign me up. In fact, the intriguing design didn't work at all with my own anatomy-- but there was no way to know that until I tried it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations are strong throughout the Fonzie, but strongest in the G-spot curve and weakest in the clit stimulator. For me, this vibrator did not work internally, but for many I'm sure it would. The levels of vibration and different pulsations give the Fonzie a lot of variety: I'm sure there's a sensation for everyone. The control button at the base of the vibrator takes you through the settings: first increasing strength, then varying pulsations. To turn the toy off, hold the button down for a few seconds. The button is conveniently located but not something you'd hit by accident, and it makes a satisfying clicking noise.
The toy is fairly quiet, audible under blankets but not through a door. It works just as well underwater as in bed.

Care and Maintenance

Fonzie is fairly easy to clean with warm water and antibacterial soap. It can also be sterilized with a 10% bleach solution if you are planning to share it, or just to make sure it is completely clean. The ridges require a little extra scrubbing. The packaging is no good for storage, but you can buy a pouch or box for it or just keep it in the bedside drawer.

Since Fonzie is made of silicone, you CANNOT use it with silicone lube. They might react and ruin your new toy. Use water-based lube instead.

Personal comments

The Fonzie would be great for those who already know they like texture (it turns out I don't) and for those whose G-spots are farther inside than mine. I couldn't position it right for dual stimulation, and when using it for G-spot stimulation only, the ridges rub me the wrong way.
For me, this toy works amazingly well when using the G-spot end on my clit-- the settings give me a lot of variety to choose from. Even without using it for its intended purpose, it's a good vibrator-- but not what I was looking for.
Follow-up commentary
This still just isn't the right vibe for me. I gave it to my girlfriend, who likes it more. It's still working just as well as ever.

    Thanks guys!
@ ~LaUr3n~ This is the only dual-action vibrator I've tried, so I can't really make suggestions. On the other hand... when I do find the right one, I'll be sure to let everyone know Smile
