Elbow length fingerless gloves: Not so fun
This item is not worth it because you will hardly use it. It is less flattering than it looks and I found it to be disappointing.Published: February 2, 2010
Pros:
Somewhat flattering, easy to clean, nice design.
Cons:
Kind of baggie, skin irritating, inconvenient.
These gloves, though they do make your hands look flattering, they are not the best play things you could use. The gloves fit well on the hands, but although they are elbow length they do stay at your elbows, instead they fall and wrinkle up on your wrists(or at least they did in mine). I wished at times that they had an elastic band at the end so that they could stay held at my elbows and did not keep falling. Instead of paying attention to my husband I would get distracted pulling the gloves up.
I have extremely sensitive skin, so i found the gloves to be very itchy and uncomfortable. If i had them on too long i would get rashes so i had to take them off at certain points. But that might change according to person or skin type. It was actually hard to play with these with my husband because his skin was very sensitive to them too, so after i bought them they did not have much of a function for me because of the amount of problems it caused me. Actually, once the playing started, the gloves came off most of the time. I do remember the once worked as a tying mechanism.
Cleaning the gloves is very easy. You can just put them in the washing machine with your darks or your delicates and they will be clean. These gloves do not unravel easily but they do get caught on buttons, corners, bracelets, jewelry, etc. Nylon gloves do in fact a beautiful floral pattern and the contrast of your gloveless fingers on that of your decorated hand do look beautiful. But you could have just as well gotten the same effect by buying gloves that stop at your wrist or an even greater effect by buying a pair of silk gloves that go to your elbows, stay at your elbows, and are actually soft against your skin and that of your mans.
This was my experience with these gloves but for all i know, they will be a complete different experience to someone else. They look very good with some types of lingerie and play costumes but other than these occasions I have not had much use for them. But my experience is only one opinion and someone else's might be completely different. There is no other way to satisfy your curiosity then buy getting them. Although I do not suggest it.

Follow-up commentary
11 months after original review
I have officially stopped using these gloves all together. I was not too fond of them to begin with and now they get caught on my jewelry and corners of my house. I have officially gotten so annoyed with them that used them for a lace section of one of my paintings. There they have made me very proud. I tried giving them a chance before but unfortunately we were not meant to be. At least they give my artwork an extra something.

Welcome! Thanks for the review.
Do these have any kind of stretch to them?

thank you...
not very much
Nice review!
In the picture I thought they looked cool, but if they are baggie I think my opinion might be lowered on this.
Anyway, Welcome to the community!
I don't know if it is a good idea to say that not using it a lot is a con. Someone may use this a lot. I guess it depends on why you buy them. Why did YOU buy them?
i actually was expecting to use them alot. i have a couple of little outfits that they would have looked cute on but i was a little too petit for them and they looked like they were too big. cause they wouldnt sty up for long
Thanks for the review. I wish they were as nice as they looked. :-(

Nice review-- you saved me a bad purchase!
I would be sure to use the extended format for reviews to make it easier to include all the information... such as the exact material, possibly what is in it that made you react allergically, the size measurements, and maybe include a photo so we know how they look on.
Thanks for the review!
thanks for the review. It was helpful. I guess I won't be buying it
Just wondering what the size measurements on these gloves are??? I've bought several others before, and i know the "one size" tag can mean a wide range of actual size depending on the product
well..... dont know exactly the size....they were to big on me, but im pretty petite
Nice review!
