Elbow length fingerless gloves - glove discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by kdlt

Aesthetics and Feel
This gorgeous pair of elbow length gloves came to me in the mail and were gifted (for Christmas) to my younger sister. She loves pretty things like this and was super excited to unwrap this present! It had no odors to it and was very soft; the design was pretty and there were no flaws. It's got a light drag to its fabric, which could be nice in the bedroom for some sensory play. They are made of nylon.

Quality
As I mentioned before, there were no flaws in the design. There were also no un-hemmed or ragged areas. Both gloves were fully intact. They look as if more than $6.99 had been spent on them, that's for sure! They were sold as "elbow length" but, even if they had gone higher on her arm, would not have actually reached her elbow.

Cleaning
We have not tried to clean the gloves yet but if they were to get sticky, I assume we would just hand wash and let them air dry. I don't know if they would hold up well in a washing machine.

Size
They fit my sister's hand but when they tried to reach her left elbow (her predominant hand), they wouldn't go up all of the way. There was too much muscle there, which is sad because I had read a review stating they'd fit plus sized girls okay. Maybe the bulk of a muscle is different in that it wouldn't budge as easily to let the glove smush it? Regardless, she just pushed the right glove down slightly and it looked purposeful and cute! They fit her fingers perfectly and did not "strangle" them at all.

Packaging
Honestly they were fairly discreetly packaged. It looked more like a luxury item than something specifically meant for the bedroom. My sister even plans on wearing them out in public and she says she wouldn't be embarrassed for anyone to see them or the packaging- most of our family saw them and were oblivious as to where I'd purchased them from!

These gloves have held up well since Christmas (as it's now April). She wears them weekly and enjoys their style and the way they add to her outfits. We had to wash them once in a gentle rinse under the water, and air-drying took care of the spill. There's a small snag in one of the gloves because she had gotten it caught on a sharp piece of metal, but aside from that they are still great!
