Okay, so maybe it looks a bit like a whacky toothbrush! And yes it seems to have an odd little horn, but the Clitoral Hummer is definitely worth a look! This vibe is designed with clitoral bliss in mind. It offers broader stimulation with the indented, triangular front and pinpoint stimulation with the little horn on the back. With varying vibrations and patterns bound to please, the clitoral hummer is a good toy to add to just about any collection.

While designed for ergonomic, external use, the clitoral hummer can be inserted for vaginal stimulation. It has enough length to be angled for G-spot stimulation, both shallow and deep. It can stimulate other erogenous zones such as the nipples, breasts, and P-spot (externally from the perineum).

The Clitoral Hummer is not designed for anal insertion. I lacks a flared base and is a semi-porous material. If you wish to stimulate the anal opening, it is best to use a condom over the toy to preserve it.

To turn of the Hummer, hold the button for about 3-4 seconds. The Hummer is also waterproof, so it can please you during a shower or bath. It does have a rubber/plastic ring to protect the battery cage. I still try to keep the cap above the waterline, just to be cautious.

The vibrations travel through the entire toy and might make your hand numb if you use it for extended periods of time. It depends on how you hold the toy as well. If you have a more tight grip, the vibrations will travel through your hand. I have found that the best way to hold the Hummer is lightly and to have a hold that more keeps it from falling than direct it. The shape of the toy does some of the work for you with keeping in place.

Care for the Hummer is easy. It can be washed with soap and water, wet wipes, or toy cleaner. Because it is waterproof, you don't have to dodge the faucet when washing. You could even let it soak in the sink with other waterproof toys (it still doesn't hurt to remove the batteries though). When drying it, I would use a cloth or lightly use a paper towel. If you are vigorously drying the hummer with toilet paper or paper towel, you'll get a little white "fuzz" on the toy. Overall, lint doesn't collect anywhere near the level of silicone toys.

The Hummer is smooth overall, so there are only a few places debris will collect. Pay extra attention to the head of the toy. The Clitoral Hummer comes in snap-shell, plastic packaging. Just un-snap the top and pull the plastic apart. The glossy, plastic insert has a diagram of the Hummer and it's functions. The packaging is not discreet nor designed for long-term storage.

There is also a small insert showing how to properly insert batteries into the Hummer. It is simply a sequence of little drawings showing which way the AA batteries go (negative nodes/flat side facing you).

While looking at reviews for the Hummer, I saw that someone had an issue with their Hummer getting very hot. I have used my Hummer for beyond 20 minutes continuously and have not experienced this. My Hummer was a little warm, but not near "warning" warm. I'm thinking that the situation was due to a defected Hummer (which sucks). I have had no issue with my Hummer other than wishing it had an independent ON/OFF button. The one thing this toy doesn't prepare for is if you get walked in on. While we hope our privacy is always respected, there are always exceptions (especially if you have children).

My reaction on being walked in on would not be to hold the button for 3-4 seconds. I'd probably spaz out and keep pressing the button to no avail. It would be an embarrassing situation. Because I'm paranoid, I worry about this on occasion, but it doesn't keep me from using my Hummer (and locks are a great friend, after all).
