Get what you pay for

As with most things, you get what you pay for. This vibrator will treat you well, but not for long.

Use

This is only effective for clitoral stimulation. Best for beginners, and those who don't plan on using this product too often. The vibrations were satisfactory for the two months they lasted. Insertion was only mediocre, and it isn't shaped to stimulate the g-spot.

Material / Texture

The texture was a little off-putting for me, and wasn't very pleasant upon insertion. I found this product was best used outside of my body. The plastic seemed to be cold no matter how much I tried to warm it up. It was rigid (which can be good).

Design / Shape / Size

I can't imagine this toy interacting with any woman's g-spot. It did, however, feel like a good size for a beginner who wanted to explore the possibilities of vibrator play. The shape is slender and simple enough to not intimidate, but doesn't make any qualms about being a vibrator by putting on any silly disguises.

Functions / Performance / Controls

For the price you can't expect much more. But this vibrator lasted maybe two months before the plastic base, which holds the batteries in and powers the device on and off, simply cracked. This happens with lots of vibrators, but the quality of the plastic should be high enough to withstand more movement than that.

Care and Maintenance

I found this easy to store and clean. It doesn't have any tricky crevices to keep clean: a real plus.

Experience

I used this toy nearly everyday for the two months it lasted, and it treated me well for that time. I used it mostly for solo play, but some with my partner. Both yielded positive results while they lasted.

It would seem you do get what you pay for, LOL two months for $11 isn't bad I suppose with daily use but still doesn't seem too terribly sturdy.
What sort of cleaning regime do you recommend for toys like this one? Is this the twist type gradual build up vibrator? How many speeds or variations does it have?
Sounds like this would be a nice non-threatening toy for a beginner to either sex or sex toys, thanks for the review!

  • Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?

      Hi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!

      Any help would be appreciated!
    • You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

      Cherry, In what ways does it stop working fast? Do you mean that the battery dies quickly? Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!
    • I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.
