The Doc Johnson Velvet Touch Vibrator is a traditional vibrator that is simple, decently powered, and affordable. For someone beginning to use toys, this is a great place to start. Velvet is a smooth vibrator, like any other bullet, just larger. It does have that "velvety" feeling that goes unnoticed during play. The tip is tapered to provide a little more of a finer point for entry. Its total size is just over 7" with 6" of that being insertable (not discreet). With 1" in diameter, it makes a very beginner-friendly vibrator.

Controls on the Velvet are located at the bottom in a dial. Simply by turning the dial, you can change the speed of the vibrator. There are four settings: High, Medium, Low and Off. They do have a decent amount of "room" on the dial so you don't accidentally bump it to another setting.

Like anything battery-powered, newer batteries provide the strongest vibrations, and weaker ones provide weaker vibrations.

To care for this toy, we store it in a sock, so #1, it's not accidentally discovered; and #2, it protects it from other items joining it in a drawer. To clean this toy, just use some warm soap and water. It cannot be boiled, cleaned with bleach, or run through the dishwasher.

The Velvet can be used with water-based lubes and silicone-based lubes.

Overall this toy is maintenance-free.

Experience matters - its is (after all) why we are all here.
