Before I review items for this site, I decided it would be best to use them 2 or 3 times before giving my final opinion. The Velvet Touch Vibrator is perfect for both solo and partner play. It can be used to stimulate the clit, insert into the vagina, and also inserted into the anus. Be sure not to transfer this or any other toy from the anus to the vagina without cleaning it first. Both the price and simplicity of this cute vibrator makes it great for overwhelmed beginners and advanced users in the mood for something simple. I went a year and a half of being sexually active before being able to orgasm with my partner, so it's safe to say I am not the easiest to please! Given that fact, the Velvet Touch was able to get me off each time. If you have children or housemates other than those you are comfortable sharing your self-love time with, then I would suggest you wait until you are home alone or just skip on this one because it is loud! I was sad when on my third use I began having problems with the vibrations fading in and out.

When I went to clean it after its second use, I noticed a small crack in the cap that screws on to hold the batteries in. I was careful not to screw it on too tight, so I don't think it was anything I did out of the ordinary. Because of this crack, I didn't want to use it in the water. It is supposed to be waterproof, though. Then in the middle of using it the 3rd time, the vibrations started cutting in and out. I suspect this could be due to the crack, but since it was so tiny, I'm not really sure. It seemed to cut out more when I was holding onto it by the cap, which of course, is the most comfortable way to hold it for me, so the rest of my session was kind of annoying.

At some point, even when I gripped it further down the shaft part, it didn't come back on. Again, I had to stop, but this time I had to completely take the cap off and put it back on. Still wouldn't come back on. For some reason, I squeezed it a little, and it started working from then until I was done with it. Also, if you have a little bit of lube left on your hands, it can be a little difficult to turn the dial when you want to change settings.

To clean this toy, I just use a little warm water and soap. It was easy to clean and I liked that it wasn't a lint magnet. To store it, I just keep it in the night stand drawer with other toys, condoms, and lube. You can use water based lube and silicone, but because of the texture, I thought it took less than I would normally use.

My orgasms were more intense with the Velvet Touch Vibe.
