Hit or Miss

I got this as a free gift (I think for signing up for the newsletter) and it's great as a free gift. I wouldn't have bought it because of the extreme curve but now that I have used it I love it for clitoral use.

Use

As the name suggests, this is a G-spot vibrator but I've found it to be more effective as a clitoral vibrator. The sharp curve of the Cute G looked intimidating to me and for good reason; it snags my pubic bone when I try to thrust with it. Every time I've used it I end up having to switch it out for a toy with less of a curve to get off.

When this happens though I press it to my clit and the vibrations are sensational there, so there is hope for the Cute G yet.

Since it's waterproof you should have no problems using it in water. I've taken it in the shower a few times and it works very well.

Keep in mind, this toy does not have a base and should not be used anally.

Material / Texture

The Cute G is made out of food grade plastic and ranks an 8 on Eden's safety scale. I didn't notice any scent when I got it but it did have a slight taste. It's completely smooth except for a few seems. Plastic is porous, so it cannot be sterilized. Something to keep in mind if you plan on sharing.

This toy is completely rigid and has no give at all. That combined with the prominent curve can make thrusting an issue.

Design / Shape / Size

Pretty straight forward, this toy is a bullet on a stick. I suppose you could pass it off as a massager if your kids accidentally find it, but most people will know what it is. The size isn't at all intimidating, about the size of my (very small) and form middle finger tip to wrist. The widest point of the toy is the egg and it's 2 inches across.

The base is easy to hold, but operating the button while it's inserted can be a bit awkward.

Functions / Performance / Controls

One button on the bottom of the base of this toy controls everything. Turning it on brings it to it's first speed, then you can cycle through the next two. Another push turns it off.

The Cute G runs on one AA battery and performs surprisingly strongly. The vibrations are limited to the egg and concentrated around the seam, and are moderate and buzzy. Since the vibrations don't travel down the shaft, it's easy to use this toy for a while with out your hand going numb or tingly. The toy seems noisy at first but then I put it under the covers and could barely hear a thing so I doubt it can be heard through walls or a closed door.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

The Cute G is made of plastic, so it can't be sanitized. Soap and water works for me and I pat it dry before storing it.

My one big problem with this toy is the seam around the egg. I didn't notice it at first, but after a few uses I saw some build up around it. Yuck! Luckily I found it before anything bad could happen and cleaned it with soap and water and a tooth pick.
    • Easy to clean

Packaging

The packaging is basic, a clear plastic tube with information about EF on it. Not ideal for storage, but it gets the job done.

    • Recyclable

Experience

Overall, I like this toy. It's good for warming up my G-spot and great for clitoral use.
Follow-up commentary
This is a fun shower toy; too bad it's been discontinued! In my original review I mentioned that this toy had a habit of snagging on my pubic bone. Unfortunately, that's still true, since there's not much I can do about my skeleton. It's nice as a clitoral vibe, which is how I've taken to using it.

OoOh! Reading your review just reminded me that I have two of these and I never did buy batteries to try mine, but I just came across some the other night! I forgot about even having this toy. I'm so sorry to hear it grabs your pubic bone -- that blows! I actually had my first real experience with a toy snagging mine just this evening! I had bought the Njoy Pure Wand and we were playing around and it kept snagging mine. With this one's round egg head, I could see that happening. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm really enjoying your reviews! I will keep in mind about the snagging before I use mine like this. The rhinestones were a nice feature! I think that's the only part that had me interested much. Ha Ha.

Thanks everyone for commenting! Yeah, the pubic bone snagging blows, but at least I know what to look out for in the future.
