More than just a pretty pink object.

It`s a sleek looking little toy that`s great for solo play. I love that this toy has a tickler; it`s my favorite function.

Use

The Advanced Clitoral Pump by California Exotics is one of my favorite solo toys. I use it frequently when my husband is out of town. It comes with two changeable sleeves, and is really easy to attach. Just place the head over your clitoris, pump a couple of times (using the attached hand pump). You can then choose from 3 vibrations settings, all with the click of one button. I wish that this button was a dial, so that you could turn the intensity up and down as desired, rather than have to flick through modes. To release, simply press the heart shaped button at the joining end of the pump.

Material / Texture

The entire base of the toy is made of plastic. The changeable heads are made of TPR which is a little porous. There are two styles of heads, one is a boring little nub, while the other has a bunch of little ticklers, which when vibrating feel wonderful. The toy doesn`t have any odor, which is nice.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is great. The neck has some bendable properties, which make it easy to maneuver and get it in where you want it to be. The cord which attaches the pump is a good foot or longer, so you are free to move your arms wherever they need to be. The size of the pump was just right for my hands, which are a little on the small side.

If I could make any change to the design, it would be that the vibration control was closer to the pump, but I`m pretty sure that would make the toy a little bulkier.
And I love the glitter!

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy could really do without the changeable heads, seeing as I only use the tickler one. The vibrations carry all the way though very nicely, even at the lightest setting. At its strongest vibration setting, it does make a bit of noise, but nothing that is noticeable if you aren`t in the same room. The batteries last quite a while in this toy, I was very impressed.

Care and Maintenance

The toy is overall easy to take care of, but cleaning is another story. Any fluids get trapped easily in the tickler head, and takes a bit of time to clean throughly. I find you don`t need much lube, if any with this toy, especially if you naturally produce lubrication.

Packaging

Oh my goodness. The box, it`s hilarious. The lady on the cover. Haha. I just want to laugh. I don`t like that you can`t actually see the toy, it`s just a picture.

    • I came across these suction toys recently and I am intrigued by them. The idea sounds wonderful, I'm just worried that it's more gimick than anything else. Has anyone used a clit pump, and if so, how did you like it? Are there any that you would recommend to a first time clit pump buyer?
    • I have yet to find a clitoral pump that actually provided continuous, consistent suction. :/

      From my own experience with something else and from reviews of this style of product in general, I think that clit-suckers are hit-or-miss (mostly miss) and extremely dependent on individual anatomy.

      You probably can't figure out which (if any) might be suited to you by reading the reviews.
