Kissa - traditional vibrator by EdenFantasys - review by Lady Venus

The Kissa is a sensual glass vibrator by yours truly, Eden Fantasys. I have wanted a vibrating glass toy for quite a while now, and you could call this my first kiss with glass.

The Kissa is girthy, multi-speed vibrator with an overload of texture. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for the inexperienced, nor can I recommend it for those who require a lot of power. If you are looking for a strong clit vibe, I would look elsewhere because this is not strong enough to get the job done. But for those who really like hard and extremely textured toys, this toy is definitely a winner! This can be used for solo play as well as couple's pay, and being made of glass you can even throw temperature into the mix! It is waterproof, so don't be afraid to take this into the bath or shower with you.

A great thing about glass is that it is completely body-safe being non porous, hypo-allergenic, and free of latex and phthalates. It also has no smell or taste. Being made of glass, this toy does has some heft to it, but it is not heavy. It feels really solid and of good quality when in hand. The inner-body of the Kissa is actually made of plastic(also body-safe), while the exterior is made of tempered glass(also known as Pyrex) which makes it less likely to break than regular glass and more resistant to hot and cold temperatures making this an excellent toy for temperature play. For an ease of mind, I can assure you that the glass will not break while in use!

The texture of the Kissa is really hard and smooth. There are no jagged edges that poke or pry into you. Though, the extremely nubby head and swirled shaft definitely add some extra stimulation. The glass is unforgiving making it feel much larger than it really is when inserted. The texture is definitely not for beginners.

The Kissa is definitely a unique looking vibrator. It's not overly large with a total length of 6 inches and an insertable length of 4.5 inches. The head has a circumference of 5 inches while the shaft has a circumference of 4.5 inches. It feels much larger than what it actually is because of the unforgiving nature of glass. Considering this is made of glass, the size was perfect for me. I wouldn't want it any larger. It is a good size for beginners, however, the texture may prove otherwise.

This toy is not only discreet in size but also in sound. If you want to take this toy with you it may fit in a large purse, but would definitely fit in a suitcase. So, don't be afraid to take it along with you on your travels.

The Kissa is powered by a single AA battery which can easily be inserting by untwisting the plastic base. This toy has three steady vibration speeds: low, medium, and high. There are no patterns. To turn on the toy, simply press the button located at the bottom of the base. You must cycle through all three settings then eventually turning the toy off, this I don't mind. The one thing I did not like is that when pressing the button, the speed doesn't automatically go up to the next level. Instead, it pauses and stops vibrating while the button is depressed and it resumes when you let go. It's very easy to press the button during use. The vibrations are not very powerful, and there is not much of a difference between the different speeds. The vibrations do travel well through the body of the glass shaft, though, I just wish they were more powerful.

This is a fairly quiet toy and I was actually quite surprised by how quiet it is. I assumed that it would be louder considering it is made of glass. I was wrong. It can easily be heard while in the same room, but not heard through a closed door.

The Kissa is waterproof! It has passed both my shower and bathtub test with flying colors. I have completely submerged this without any water leaking into the battery compartment. I love a toy that I can bring into the bathtub!

Because the Kissa is waterproof and made of glass it is super easy to take care of. To clean it you can wash it with hot water and an antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner. You can also wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution for a deep cleaning. Just be sure to take special care when cleaning around the nubs and the swirls because junk can collect there. Due to the mechanism, I wouldn't recommend boiling or washing it the dishwasher.

Glass is very toy box friendly, you don't have to worry about it reacting with other materials, however, the included padded storage pouch is probably the best place to store this toy. Being made of glass, you don't want to leave it loose where it can shuffle around. It's not an overly large toy so it can stuffed just about anywhere.

With this toy, you can use your preferred lubricant of choice. I recommend a water-based as it is less expensive and easier to clean. However, if you plan to take the Kissa for a swim, silicone may be the better choice of lubricant. Which ever lubricant you decided to use, very little is needed.

The packaging is simple and minimal, but very informative. It comes in a plastic bag sealed at the top with a cardboard flap that can be tossed. Included is a velvety padded storage pouch which is always a bonus. On the front of the cardboard is says Kissa in the Eden Fantasys theme colors, it actually looks like the gift cards. The back tells you that it's body safe tempered glass, has 3 vibration speeds, textured for more pleasure, waterproof, and great for temperature play. It also lists directions for use, and how to care for the toy. There is diagram for which way to insert the battery, which is always helpful.

Overall this is a great toy, however, I do wish the vibrations were more powerful. This was my first glass toy and I must admit, I did enjoy it. However, it's not in my top 10. I am now curious to as what a regular non-vibrating glass toy would be like. I am giving the Kissa 3 stars.

This was my very first glass toy so I had no idea what to expect from it. I do not find the vibrations to be enough for me clitorally, but internally they are just right. They are not overpowering so I am able to enjoy the variations of texture which, for me, feel AMAZING! All the nubs and swirls combined with its size give me a full feeling and if maneuvered just right, I am able to hit my g-spot. Unfortunately, the vibrations are not strong enough for me to orgasm and I normally finish off with another toy.
