NaughtiBod - traditional vibrator by OhMiBod - review by clumsythumbs

I purchased this vibrator to replace my last and, I'll admit, the "hooks up to your mp3 player and responds to your music" gimmick was what drew me in. I was so excited when I received this package that I instantly tore it open; I couldn't wait to get going. One of the things that I was most excited about was getting two sets of batteries with the toy itself: every review I read had told me that OhMiBod included batteries with this toy! Apparently that was an older model or something because when I ripped this baby open, the only things inside were the vibrator, the cord, and the drawstring bag. I happened to have two AAAs on me and probably shouldn't have relied on older reviews, but that was definitely something that disappointed me. Why would they take away something so amazingly considerate?

Starting up the toy had me giddy though. Everything about this thing had me initially going wild. The curves of it are beautiful (I actually purchased mine in purple and it is just adorable). The plastic has that soft finish that was really pleasing in my hand. At first, I played around with it just to see what kind of vibrations it was capable of along with the music. Personally, I'm used to using a wired vibrator so the cords were of little concern for me. Pleasingly enough though, it's completely wireless when you're using it as a traditional vibrator.

The thing that I noticed when I was just testing it out in my hand was that, unlike what I had heard, the vibrations were very accurate to the music. It was all very well timed, just like any good rumble on a game console's controller but far far sexier.

When I finally got the NaughtiBod ready to see some action, I knew that I had to start of with some Coheed and Cambria, my favorite band. It became obvious right away that this toy responds best to lower, deeper notes. That was what gave me the strong buzz I was looking for. Admittedly, I spent a few songs just playing around to see what worked and what didn't. Unfortunately enough, there was some mild disappointment that came when I realized that my absolute favorite song didn't work very well with the NaughtiBod. That's certainly not a big deal and shouldn't sway any one away from looking into this toy because that's not the toy's fault. It was just an observation I made.

If the fact that it vibrates with the music isn't enough to really get you excited, the shape is something to look at too. At only four inches, this is not a big guy, but the curves really make a difference when you're inserting this vibrator. It gives it a fuller feeling whenever you're inserting it. Kudos to OhMiBod for the design of this toy!

There were a couple of things that sort of put me off, but they aren't any deal breakers for me. One is the noise level. The less powerful vibrations aren't very loud at all, but as it gets more powerful, it has a really noticeable buzz to it. I couldn't hear it over my headphones, but I really noticed it when I used the NaughtiBod without music.

Another thing that really struck me as off was the fact that the toy got a feeling that I really can't describe with any word other than "icky" while I was using it. I used my NaughtiBod with some lube and that really enhanced the feeling, but the soft plastic really seemed to take on a sticky, almost dirty feeling right away. I wiped it down with a wet washcloth right after using it and it felt pristine again, but it was just something I wish I would have been prepared for.

All together, I really enjoy this toy. I even tried it without any vibration at all and it's just a really well designed vibrator. If you're ready to take care of it, it's ready to take care of you in any way that you could possibly think of.

As a small note, my own musical suggestions for the NaughtiBod are genres like rock, techno, and espcially dubstep (though dubstep is not everyone's cup of tea). Look for music that has some bass and a lot of variety so that the toy will pick up all of those details and translate them into orgasms.
