NaughtiBod - traditional vibrator discontinued by OhMiBod - review by Ikkyika

The appeal of the Naughtibod is the capability to attach your iPod (or other mp3 player) and let your playlists control the vibrations. For those of you who can't go a moment without music in your life, you can now use this vibe to jam out with your clam out.

Due to the small size of this vibe (6 1/4" total with an insertion of only 4"), I didn't find it to be satisfying in the least for vaginal stimulation. The only way I was actually able to get off with the Naughtibod was to use it on the clitoris. If positioned correctly, it can also be used for G-spot stimulation. This toy can also be used for anal- I found it was one of the nicer toys I owned for such a purpose. As a beginner of anal play, the small size & smooth texture of the Naughtibod made insertion a breeze and pretty painless.

I had very high hopes for this toy but unfortunately, it turned out to be major let down.

The Naughtibod is made of a premium grade hypoallergenic non-toxic, non porous ABS plastic. There is a slight velvety drag to the toy when opened, but this wears off with time making the Naughtibod just a piece of hard plastic. There is no give to the toy, which makes the material making slightly uncomfortable at times. When taken out of the packaging for the first time, there is a slight odor to the vibe. After a couple washes with a toy sanitizer, this fades. The texture of the Naughtibod is a simple and non-threatening, a wonderful starter shape for people looking to try something new.

Personally, I found the texture to be very basic and boring.

The Naughtibod is on the smaller size, measuring 6 1/4" long (4 1/2" insertable) and 1" in diameter (at its widest point). For vaginal use, the size was a total turn off for me; it was simply far smaller then im used to. For clitoral use, the vibrators are strong enough to do the job, but the shape is slightly awkward for it. Once you get wet, whether it be from natural or artificial lubrication, the toy itself keeps slipping. Thus making it necessary to do a mid-way clean up, which is ridiculous and definitely a mood killer.
However, I did find the toy to come in handy when it came to anal play. The bulges along the shaft help to act as an anchor. The softer velvet texture when the toy is first received, along with the smooth transition between its bulges made for a pleasurable experience. This being said, I am a beginner in anal play.

This toy does not come with a travel lock. In order to travel with it, and make sure its not dead when you arrive, I strongly recommend removing the batteries and simply placing them in the sleeve provided.

The texture along the shaft is non-threatening, which makes the shape itself a good purchase for people looking to explore the textured world a bit. I stress that the shape itself a good purchase, not the Naughtibod itself.

There is no display with this toy, no LED indications, no nothing. It's very simple and straightforward. You can convert the Naughtibod to a traditional vibe by switching the mp3 end cap out for the traditional cap. This allows you to choose between three speeds and four different pulsing patterns. There is 2 buttons on the traditional end cap, 1 triangle and 1 circle. The triangle is used to cycle through and the circle when held down turns the Naughtibod off. When the audio input (mp3 capable) end is attached there is only place for the wire, the toy being controlled by the volume and beat of the song.

The key function that OhMiBod has the offer is the one thing I hate most about the toy, so maybe it's just not for me. I feel this would've been a great first toy when I was still a teenager, as I feel that is the only demographic that this would appeal to. It seems so juvenile in comparison to my Zini, Lelo, Icicles etc.

This toy is NOT waterproof.

It is extremely loud in comparison to my other toys. Not only is the Naughtibod itself loud, but there is also the noise from the headphones as well making it terrible if your trying to be discreet and not let everyone in the house know EXACTLY what your doing.

Clean after every use with adult toy cleaner or mild soap and water. I use the EdenWipes as a I love the smell of them and they make clean up very simple. Dry thoroughly. When cleaning, keep motor, end cap and batteries away from liquids to prevent corrosion of electronic parts. Once the toy has been cleaned, store it in the sleeve provided in the packaging. This sleeve is oversized for the product, making it easy to store the additional end caps, extra batteries, wires etc.

The Naughtibod comes in a smaller package, with a photo of the product on the front of the box making disposable and indiscreet. Inside there is plastic encasing which holds the Naughtibod itself, wires, different battery caps, and a set of AAA`s. There is a also a pink velvet sleeve that reads OhMiBod on the outside in large white writing.

The older models (with the 2 different battery caps) actually came with AAAs, which was a pleasant surprise. I don't believe the newer ones come with the batteries included, but I could be wrong on that.

Personally, I found this vibe to be a complete let down. Mine broke, and needless to say, I`ll never replace it.

-It broke within 3-4 months completely
-The wires are unsexy and in the way
-Its too small for my personal preference, making it useless
-The toy is extremely loud, although with headphones in you don`t overly notice. This just adds to the noise unless you have a nice pair of noise cancelling headphones.
-Battery life is terrible, spend the extra money and get something rechargeable!

After receiving this toy, I could barely wait to take it for a test drive. My first impression was impressive but this opinion changed very fast. The only genres I found to provide a strong enough vibration was a mix between some rock, hip hop, and dubstep, all of which dont put me in the mood, nor do I feel like being forced to listen to them while Im trying to get off.

Not only do you have to worry about the battery life of the Naughtibod itself, but also whether or not your iPod is charged, where the wires are, if you have the correct end (if you have the older model where there were two attachments, one for mp3 use and one to use the toy manually) etc. Basically, I spent so much time setting things up to charge and hunting for AAAs that by the time everything was good to go, I was nowhere in the mood to fiddle with the thing farther.

It takes 2 AAAs, which has a battery life of roughly 2-3 hours before you can feel the vibrations getting weaker and weaker. Unfortunately, AAAs are something I keep stocked in my house, so when the batteries start to die, the night is pretty much over.
