Although this is not my favorite toy, with its pretty purple color, its velvety texture, great girth, and strong vibrations, it definitely makes the cut to be in my bedside table drawer! The Groovies Slimline is a plastic toy with a velvety coating. It is non-porous and made up of phthalate-free ABS plastic. I love the coating! I was glad that it was not just hard plastic. The velvety coating is smooth and adds more drag, which makes it more enjoyable during penetration. It is a traditional vibrator, but definitely worth the price. It is not a flexible toy, so being careful during penetration is a must.

A big plus for this toy is that it has no odor! I am always concerned with odor, although a mild odor is okay as long as it doesn't interrupt me during use. To the touch, this baby is very smooth, easy to hold, and easy to slide in and out. During foreplay I like to tease my husband, so I like to lick and suck on the vibrator. It was great that there was no taste to it: that would turn me away from putting my mouth on it.

(If the cap is not screwed on tightly, it will not turn on - or it will turn on and off during use.)

I will say: when I first received the package, I opened it, put in the batteries, and thought to myself, "Wow this is noisy!" The husband agreed. On the highest setting, it can be heard in the same room, but not behind closed doors. The vibrations are located slightly below the shaft. Although they are felt pretty strong at the tip, they are stronger below the shaft. It has very strong vibrations, which, to me, is great because I love mine on the highest setting!

It is waterproof, and using this baby in the shower definitely adds to the sensation, especially during partner play. I was a little skeptical about using this in the bath; but, even in a tub full of water, it worked great and definitely added to the sensation (not to mention that the Mr. was beyond thrilled to see me in a tub of water playing with myself).

The Groovies Slimline is very easy to clean: just a little bit of soap and warm water will get it clean. Since it is waterproof, it makes it a lot easier to wash it before and after each use.

The packaging was very simple. No instructions were included, except the ones listed on the back of the package. I like to keep most of my toys stored in their original cases unless I use them often, and the fact that I did not have to tear or cut the package was a plus because I do get to store it in there whenever it's not in use. It comes in a package you would typically see hanging in stores on a shelf.

It did take me longer than it does with my #1 vibe to get off (I guess I'm learning that each vibe has its little tricks to do the job). But, even still, the sensation when finally finishing was great. It definitely felt different than with my #1 vibe and required a little more work on my part (besides the usual placing it on my clit and just waiting to get off). I was so super wet after finally having an orgasm that slipping it in my pussy was super easy! I loved it.

Wow! With the strong vibrations I felt upon opening it, I thought for sure it would have been a piece of cake to get off with it. I was wrong! My husband likes it because it made it easier on him to use on me since it wasn't going to slip in and out as easily as other toys, and he knew it would not accidentally hurt my cervix.
