Slim, Soft and Almost Satisfying

The feel of this toy is worth the purchase, but if you're a size-queen and you need strong, consistent vibrations, this toy will not be your best friend. If you're toy-shy and looking for something wallet-friendly, this is an excellent first toy.

Use

This vibrator is designed for clitoral stimulation and penetration, and is best suited for first-time toy users. The lack of girth allows for comfortable penetration for the toy-shy, although I would recommend using lubrication as the velvety texture tends to snag on un-moist bits. Anal play with this little guy is not recommended, as it doesn't have a flared base and could easily go on a surprise adventure.

Material / Texture

Designed exclusively for EdenFantasys, the Slimline is made from body-safe, all-lube-safe, non-porous material, and doesn't have any chemical smell, as some toys do. The plastic of the body has no give, and has a velvety-soft coating. I honestly couldn't stop touching it when I first freed it from its package. As I said to my partner over and over again, "So touchy!" (Insert ridiculous grinning here.)

Personally, I didn't find it to be very comfortable for penetration due to the stiffness of the material—I much prefer something with a little give so I can be as rough as I want without worrying about injuring my innards. However, the velvety coating is lovely for clitoral stimulation. I've always been a huge fan of velvety.

Design / Shape / Size

The Slimline has six inches of insertable length and the main section of the shaft is 3 3/4" around, then tapers off to a rounded point at the tip. It's the standard vibrator shape, and actually reminds me of my very first vibrator (aw, nostalgia!). For me, the design is nothing special, and is too firm to be a must-have for my collection.

The overall construction of the toy is pretty sturdy, but you can tell by holding it that it's not a luxury toy. The base has a plastic, silver-colored ring separating the insertable section from the battery compartment. I wasn't a huge fan of the battery compartment design—after adding batteries, one must screw the base on, but the control dial is on the bottom of that knob...and twists in the same direction. I found it difficult to twist one and not the other. It's not a deal-breaker, but I like my toys to be user friendly—nothing ruins the mood like finicky technology!

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations fluctuate in power, are overall not very strong, and are not evenly distributed—they seem to be strongest near the tip of the toy. Also, the control dial on its base (which ranges from low to high with a smooth rotation) is very loose, and I found it difficult to stop it from switching suddenly to different intensity levels. I tried keeping my finger over the knob to keep it in place, but that took too much concentration for a truly satisfying and relaxing experience.

Even when I was just holding it and not using it to play with myself, the vibrations weren't very strong and seemed to fluctuate in intensity. Additionally, despite the amount of noise, the vibrations are surprisingly weak.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very user-friendly in the materials chosen—it can be cleaned using your toy-cleaner of choice or a 10% bleach solution, can be used with any type of lube, and is safe for sharing with friends (but make sure you clean it in between uses). This toy may pick up lint and dirt easily because of the velvety coating, so it can be stored in its original packaging, or some other lint-free container like a plastic baggie or an unlinty satin toy bag.
    • Easy to clean
