I bought the butterfly kiss because it seemed like a phenomenal toy. I'm not shy about my love for clitoral and G-spot stimulation, and all of the independent reviews I had read (save for one, which in hindsight I should have paid some heed to) stated that it was FANTASTIC. For fifteen dollars, the promise of G-spot pressure and strong clit-stim was something I could not ignore. So, I ordered it and waited with bated breath for its arrival.

Straight out of the box it looked lovely, very sensual and suited to my more feminine days. Its material was soft and pliable, not at all sticky, and had a texture that turned me on just to touch.

However, the romance with this toy ended as soon as I took it for a spin. The first vibration setting was far too gentle for me, I could barely feel it. The second was slightly better, so I hoped that the third would deliver - but sadly, it didn't. It kept me on the edge of orgasm and I grew frustrated trying to isolate and stimulate my clitoris; so I ended up incorporating an electric toothbrush to get the job done. (Hey, I'm next to broke and out of toys save for this one. I did what I had to do.)

I figured that maybe that first time, I was having an off day. My clit is hypo-sensitive and this problem fluctuates unpredictably, so I picked a day when I was more sensitive and warmed myself up before having another go at it. I placed it on the highest speed and eased the bulbous part in my vagina first, thrusting it to try and build up a bit before getting to the wings and antennae up above. The first-time experience repeated itself though, and I knew I was done.

This toy would likely be perfect for a vibrating toy novice, someone who is very sensitive to stimulation or couples interested in edge play. I found that as a person who needs strong vibrations engaging in solo use, it simply didn't provide.

This one ended up in the trash in spite of my toy-hoarding ways. Thankfully, I came into some money (mind the pun) and was able to purchase a MiMi and a Wahl two-speed massager. I found a great deal more success with those than with this little gem.
