The Valuable Velvety Vibrator
In conclusion, I love this vibrator. It is by far the best in my small collection. It's strong enough so one doesn't have to waste time messing around trying to get off alone, and it's easy to take care of. It could be a bit bigger around, but that is only a small disadvantage for a great product.Published: March 25, 2009
Pros:
Ideal length, and the vibration levels are evenly apart and it is quiet.
Cons:
The “tip” (as with many like this) can hurt it it's pushed too hard at the right angle.
One day, my boyfriend and I decided to bring out a toy [not this toy] we had purchased together for a little extra fun. I turned the dial on the base of this other toy, eager to begin. Unfortunately, my trusted friend had moved on to the land of non-functioning sex toys.
I was a bit sad having lost my first vibrator, but decided I needed to move on after much persuasion. By chance, I found this gem, waiting patiently for us to purchase it. The price was fantastic, and at the time I was color-coordinating everything with my pink hair
Honestly, after using this one, I'm glad the last one broke.
My favorite aspect of this at first was the feel. It's soft and well, velvety, much unlike the hard plastic some are made of, and it comes in colors beside just pink. The best feature of course is the different vibration intensities. The first setting is soft, enough maybe for a tease. The second is a bit more, something edging closer to the finale. The last, my personal favorite, is strong, capable of going for "Eh...” to "wow that's great" in no time. I’ve used this various times alone, but also during sex to make my way to some powerful orgasms. If that’s not enough, it’s small enough around that it can because it to loosen up for anal. [Editor's note: this toy is not safe for anal penetration due tot he lack of a flared base.]
Cleaning is fairly simple which of course is great. It doesn’t sound like someone’ is trying to sand the paint off the walls either. Anyone who’s ever had a nosy roommate, or lived with family can see the value in that. Another great thing: It uses AA batteries, a far cry in size and expense from the good old C batteries. Finally, I’ve had this one for a few years now, and it still works like it’s brand new.
The Velvet Touch Vibrator has earned its self a permanent place in my collection.

Getting rid of stains on my Velvet Touch vibe?
-
LinLinHi, I accidentally used my Velvet touch vibrator during my period (like I started going and I didn't notice that I was already spotting). Since then it has some mild yellowing (I got it in lavander) and I don't know how to get rid of the stains! It does not seem to have an odor or anything, but does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the stains? I love this toy and its my first and only one I own, but I'm so annoyed with the staining!
Any help would be appreciated! -
You could try cleaning it with a bleach solution, but honestly it might just be stained. I'd say that if it doesn't smell and you've cleaned it real well, that might just be it. It won't affect the usability at all though, which is good. :)

Yep, I was going to suggest the same. Best wishes!

Quote: I've heard this one is no good. it stops working fast. Should i buy it?Cherry, In what ways does it stop working fast? Do you mean that the battery dies quickly? Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.

Thank you for viewing Velvet touch vibrator – traditional vibrator review page!

Glad to hear you are enjoying this one so much! This is hard plastic with a velvety coating right? How many batteries does it take? Also, I would be very careful using this one anally. Some have a problem with toys trying to suck up into thier rectum. This one is relatively short at 7" and it lacks a flared base so be careful! Thanks for the review!

Did you try this in the water yet? How do you normally clean it?
