The Maven can be used by moving the sleeve back and forth. It can also be used by resting it on something or wedging in something to hold it still and using your hips to thrust. I preferred the latter method as this more closely simulates actual sex.

The Maven is made of elastomer and has no real noticeable odor. The outside is smooth, and the inside has nubs though you can turn it inside out.

I'm a little larger than average, and the Maven fit ok. It might be more comfortable for average size guys. My sensitivity to it could be because I am uncut. It's small enough that you could travel with it, but I don't think it's so mind-blowing that it's worth traveling with.

The best feature of the Maven is it only has one open end. That means you can finish inside it without worrying about where all the semen is going to go. The closed end also means that, by squeezing all the air out of the Maven before inserting your penis, you can create a slight vacuum effect that sucks your penis in.

The Maven is very easy to clean. Just flip it inside out, wash it, and flip it back (or dry first before flipping it back).

It does the job, but I found the nubs to be uncomfortable. It could be because I'm a little larger than average, or it could be because I have foreskin, or it could be both. In any case, I find I don't use it often because unless I finish very quickly, the stimulation from the nubs becomes uncomfortable and mildly painful.
