Oh big blue Maven, let me start off by saying that this was my first Sleeve before my Non-Descript Fleshlight. Honestly I didn’t know what to expect, and what the outcome of this was going to be. When I received the Maven, I was excited and ready to use it. I waited for my sweetie to come over so she can give me a helping hand with this! Once we were ready and got in the mood, she removed it from the plastic bag it arrived in and the first couple of things I notice was: 1.) It was longer then I expected, it is 7 inches in length to be exact. (which is no biggie) 2.) It was all floppy and squishy. 3.) The outside texture was soft, and it DIDN’T have any type of odors or bad smell to it (which is a good thing).

My girlfriend started by applying lube to my dick, and applied a little bit to the opening of the maven. She slipped the Maven over my dick and began to stroke it slowly, at first it felt good but it just wasn’t doing much for me. She picked up the speed and notice I wasn't reacting to well to it, so she stopped and asked if she was doing it right. I told her yeah she was, the sleeve itself was ok, but nothing out of this world. So right before she slipped it off completely and had it at the tip of my dick, I’m assuming some air got into it and added some sort of suction to it. Which then made it feel a lot better then before, she ended up stroking for a bit longer but didn’t finish up with it.

The Maven has little nubs all over the inside, and is made out of something called Elastomer. The only issues I find with it are do to it being Elastomer and not having any type of support, the Maven sleeve is sort of flimsy and floppy. Also, my opinion is that it's to loose and to make it a bit tighter you would have to get a good grip and squeeze. If you would like it a bit looser then you wont have to do much, just Stroke away. You won't have any trouble keeping a grip on it, or losing control and having it slip out of your hand. It's Really stretchy and will accommodate anybody. It didn’t have any trouble stretching to my size, nor did I have to force it in, which is actually a good thing.

[|The maven only has one opening] and its sealed towards the back, which conceals a mess, its easy to clean and easy to turn inside out. One thing you will notice after a while when you flip it inside out to clean it, is the wear and tear it will create. Also after washing it a couple of time the outside will no longer be soft, it will actually turn to a rubbery sticky feel. Overall for a first sleeve I was happy, but not as happy as I expected. It was good at first but I didn’t get too comfortable with it since I knew it would get replaced quickly for something else. For the price I would actually suggest putting in a couple of extra bucks and getting a Fleshlight.
