Use

This desensitizing gel is in theory perfect for numbing most things on your body. You can gargle with it to numb your throat and make it easier to deep throat, or you can use it on your nipples if they're too sensitive for play normally, or you can use it on a penis to make him last longer.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of this is a bit hard to pin down exactly. In the jar, it looks like a gel or jelly. It behaves a lot like a watery lotion, and looks like jelly. If you were to tilt the jar around, the stuff inside moves around and will even pour out if you wanted to. But it also seems to stay in place fairly well too.

Taste / Aroma

This is available on Eden in a few different flavors; cherry, vanilla, mint, and strawberries and champagne. I've got the cherry one and to me, it smells and tastes a lot like a cherry flavored cough syrup. Think like cherry Nyquil, only it'll also make your throat numb. The scent isn't all that strong fortunately, and you do have to get pretty close to be able to smell it.

Performance

Despite the less than wonderful taste, it actually does do what it says it will and numbs the area you apply it to. The original instructions I was given when I purchased this in my carnal pleasures collection were to gargle with it to more evenly numb the back of my throat for easier deep throating. Both this and just licking it off of my hand produced a numb mouth, although gargling gave me a more evenly spread out numbness. Something else you can do is apply it to overly sensitive nipples for a bit of extra play, or to your (or your guy's) penis to help make him last a little bit longer. If you do this, you'll want to make sure to either use a condom or clean it off really well once it kicks in to keep you from going numb as well. No matter which way you use it, it'll clean up easily enough with a wet washcloth and seems to last between 10-20 minutes or so.

Packaging

What you get here is a small 2 ounce jar. It's not the most discreet thing ever, but it's far from the most in your face thing either. It'll tell you what scent/flavor you have, and lists the ingredients as well. It's got a screw off lid that keeps things inside nicely if you decide to travel with it.

The ingredients are listed as active ingredient - benzocaine 7.5%. This is what makes you numb. Inactive ingredients - water, peg 8, glycerin, propylene glycol, flavor, triethanolamine, carbomer, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, sucralose, red #40, and red #33.As a note, this is chocked full of things that most vaginas are probably going to be irritated by, so you should take care to avoid getting it near that area.

Experience

I know, the last time this was brought up in a review I said I'd never use it again. I lied. I definitely don't use it on a regular basis, but I've tried it a few more times to see if I liked it any better. I really don't, but it's not bad enough to keep me from trying it yet again to see if I like it. If you're not too picky on flavor and just want something for numbing, this isn't a bad choice.
