The Shunga Sensations Balm was one of the first creams that my wife and I had tried in an attempt to sustain longer love making. Through a little trial and error, and after finding that many of the cock rings did not work as well as they had claimed, we came to find this product.

The Shunga Sensations Balm is a thick balm that is applied to just under the head or tip of the penis and down the front of the shaft, to help desensitize the penis some, in order to remain "in the game" a little longer. When using this product, you have to make sure to not use too much, otherwise you will numb yourself and your partner (which isn't good for either party). We used roughly a nickle size dab. That seemed to work pretty well. The first time, we used too much, hence the personal experience with numbing yourself and your partner!

This balm has a very creamy texture to it. The consistency is that of a thick gel. It isn't chunky or anything though. It's very smooth.

The taste is awful. We had the cherry flavor and found that there was an extremely bitter taste to it. The aftertaste was awful enough that we had to rinse our mouths out with some water. This product IS edible, though I would not recommend that. The smell was barely noticeable to my wife and me. The smell isn't off-putting; it was a very light fruity scent.

This product lasted roughly 25 minutes. I wouldn't say that it was a "short" experience, because it did work better than not at all. The first time that we used it, we did use too much and failed to wipe the excess off which resulted in slightly numbing my wife. The second time, we made sure to wipe off any excess. We had much better luck with using less and wiping off the rest. This extended our love making to about 10 minutes longer than normal, which isn't half bad. I was expecting a little more though.

The balm cleans off easily and doesn't leave behind any type of stickiness. We used a simple baby wipe, and that seemed to do the trick.

We did notice that it seemed to get a little tacky after a few moments of use.

I would say that this cream does work, depending on how much you use and your sensitivity to these types of creams. This is kind of one of those "hit or miss" types of things though. Either it works for you, or it just doesn't.
