So, my husband and I have been on the hunt for something that would make him "stay put" while I try to get up to speed with him. Yes, sadly, he is a minute man. Love him to death, but it was starting to become troublesome in the bedroom. We tried a variety of different cock rings (to no avail). We tried a few different creams, again without any result. So, we decided to try the Shunga Sensations Balm. We have read some pretty decent reviews about it on EdenFantasys and decided to take the plunge. What could it hurt at this point, Right?

The Shunga Sensations Balm comes in a 2fl oz jar. Honestly, Im more of a "tube" person just because application is easier. Because this comes in a jar, we noticed right away that this was going to be one of those "messy" products to contend with. So, make sure to keep some sort of wipe or tissue nearby for easy clean up. The Shunga Sensations Balm contains benzocaine, which is a numbing agent. This helps to numb areas of the penis so that the guy can still feel sensation, but holds him back just a little.

We applied the balm using one finger and ran it under the head of his penis and down the vein that runs underneath his penis. Just for good measure, I made sure to make a swipe of the finger around the boys and underneath. (I REALLY wanted this stuff to work). So, we waited for about 5 minutes or so, for the balm to "do its thing". We did notice that we may have used a bit too much and failed to follow the direction of "wipe off any excess before intercourse". My "who-hah" was becoming a tad desensitized itself. Which in my book, is not good. So needless to say, we BOTH were in for a long haul. He said that he did notice the tingling and somewhat desensitizing of the balm. I noticed it, because we lasted for more than twenty minutes. Kudos Shunga! So, all in all, it worked for us. Depending on how much you use, where you place it and how long you plan to go, it should work for you too. However, everyone is different with different needs. So take my review with a grain of salt.

It is compact and rather "discreet", so if it gets left out, there probably won't really be any questioning it. However, I will note that this stuff had a NASTY taste to it. Of course, it numbed MY mouth pretty good (yes, I had to taste it) but it does say its for "external use only", so I wouldn't recommend trying to taste or use before oral sex.

Im not quite sure how this would effect condoms, so that is something that you would have to ask the company about. We don't have to use condoms, so that wasn't an issue for us.

So, last night I decided that we were going to try this once more, and NOT have the excess cream/coochy desensitizing issue. We made sure to wipe off any excess cream before we began. Once we let it sit in long enough on him, it absorbed well enough to where I did not have any issues with my poor kitty having less feeling! Thank goodness. It still works pretty well for him, and we were able to make it through a pretty decent amount of time with him not having the "urge" so soon. Happy to say that we've found a cream that works! YAY!
