I’ll start off by saying that I have had no prior experience with elastomer before this sleeve. I initially imagined it as a very firm material, and was concerned that the bumps on the inside of Maven would be rigid and uncomfortable, however I was pleasantly surprised. When I received Maven, I was excited to discover that its blue body features a very squishy feel and a soft beaded texture on the inside. The elastomer material it’s composed of is odorless as well as tasteless.

I found that the opening of Maven is a little wider than your average masturbation sleeve. If you're a little smaller than average and you want something tight, I would recommend finding a toy that offers a firmer hold. However if your size is a bit larger than average, this toy will give you a fair amount of squeeze. If you are averagely sized, this sleeve won’t be too tight, even with the suction. I do wish the hole was a bit smaller because I often find myself applying pressure on the sides during use to get a tighter feel.

Maven is only open at one end, creating an excellent suction effect. This luxury also gives you the freedom to cum inside and not worry about making a mess. Clean up is simple, as the material is non porous and the sleeve can be easily reversed.

This toy works very well with water-based lubricants. I used the Maximus lubricant and it works spectacularly with its consistency. I’m happy to say that this toy has never caused me any sort of chafing or discomfort, so that is not an issue at all with the proper lubricant.

For its price, Maven is a real winner. I’ve had this sleeve for months now and it hasn’t let me down, however I do wish it was tighter. The material is surprisingly durable and I haven’t even noticed so much as a wrinkle in it so far. I’m extremely pleased with it and believe that it’s an extraordinary sleeve for beginners and collectors alike. If you're looking for a great durable sleeve that feels great and is not too tight, then look no further.
