A quick fix, not a solution.
The Toy Cleanser by California Exotics is a quick fix for cleaning up toys after each use, but is not a washing alternative. The cleanser comes in a 4.3 fl oz spray bottle. But beware, this cleaner provides no instructions or warnings.Published: March 21, 2010
Pros:
Clear, scent free, anti bacterial.
Cons:
Lacks cautions or directions, not informative.
Experience
This toy cleanser is the first chemical product I have ever purchased that had no directions or cautions. It is good for a quick clean up, but not a washing solution.
I gave this product such a low rating because for a chemical cleaner to not have directions is just not okay. Basically if purchasing this cleanser, you will need to do your own research to find answers.

Thank you for viewing Anti bacterial toy cleaner – toy cleanser review page!

I find it very confusing that a manufacturer would leave instructions off of a cleaning product. Good review nonetheless. And just a quick aside: your first link to EF in your offsite review is misspelled and goes to "edenfantays.com".
Ha Ha! I always do that. Thanks for letting me know. It's fixed.
Hmmm...I usually wet the toy, spray it and it gets all sudsy like soap then I rinse with hot water. I have never had a residue or anything from it. But I am not one to put any chemical on my toys if they will be inserted unless it gets rinsed off. I have a thing about chemicals going into my vagina...but I am neurotic, or so I am told.
Yeah. It is hard to tell what the best way is to use this spray. It came with no instructions whatsoever. I just took a guess at it. And it comes as a spray rather than a soap. So who knows? Maybe Cal Exotics has the answer that they decided to withhold?
I hate when there's no instructions for a product like this.
Great review!
Very nice review!
Thanks for the review. I am trying to find a good cleaner to use because I don't like to jump up and clean my toys right away, but I am kind of neurotic about germs, so your review was very helpful.
The cleaners from Doc Johnson have written instructions on them including how long it should be left on the toy and how thickly you should spray the product! Seems Cal Exotics could do the same!
Still seems you have the best answer anyway...in a pinchuse the commercial cleaners as a stop gap until you can wash the toy more thoroughly.
Thanks for the well thought out review!
Nice review. Sucks it didn't come with instruction.
I have some cleaner by CEN which is the same formula but has Dr Berman's name on it (or some other Dr/celebrity endorsement). It also didn't have instructions.
Hmmm... bummer. What is the deal with that?
Why wouldn't they include instructions on a cleaning product? It seems pretty important.
nice review!
Very thorough review.
