Universal toy cleaner - toy cleanser discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by MGDavicnigirl

I bought this toy cleaner on a whim. Regular hot soapy water has served me well with all of my toys so far. I took extra care with anything that was porous or was used for anal play. One day my husband suggested we pick a toy cleaner up, just to try out. I mean for the price I could not say no.

This cleaner is so simple and easy to use, that there should be no excuses for putting a dirty toy back in the toy box after you use it. Simply spray the cleaner onto your toy, rub on, and wipe off. The only way it could get easier if it was in wipe format.

In addition to being a toy cleaner, this spray also seems to act as a toy protectant or sorts. This means your hard earned money spent on your favorite toys won't go to waste. Proper care and storage of your toys is important to their lifespan. This cleaner is safe for all materials.

If I try to play with a freshly (still wet) cleaned toy, it does cause some irritation to the ultra-sensitive skin on my vulva. The routine I've found is to rinse the toy off prior to using it, or wait for the toy to dry completely on its own before I use it again.

Other users here have said that this cleaner has a chemical smell to it, though it didn't seem to bother me. I would say that the smell is comparable to that of your average household cleaning product in a spray bottle.

A small bottle seems to last a long time. I consider myself a pretty heavy toy user, and my bottle has lasted me over six months. A little goes a long way with this product.

I find myself reaching for this toy cleaner more and more for a quick in between toy cleaning when I can't get the job done right away. It won't replace washing with hot soapy water, but when I don't have access to that (when camping, etc.) this is a great alternative.
