The foam is aerated when you pump it. It has a slight hand soap scent to it. It's made out of triclosan, disodium cacoamphodiacetate, sodium trideceth sulfates, propylene glycol, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, and purified water.

I hadn't used the foaming type of toy cleaner before. I had only used the gel kind. But I have to say that I prefer the foaming kind now. It only takes one squirt to clean a bullet and a few squirts to clean up a full sized vibe or a dildo.
